Bad quality external power supply that can not be easily replaced after warranty
Beware of the quality. I am not one to write many reviews for products, but given the failure I figured I would share. The power supply failed catastrophically after having the monitor for about 18 months. I returned to my desk to the sweet smell of burned-up electronics and all the power shut off. Fortunately my 1500VA UPS detected an overload and turned off before what could have been a much worse situation, given what seemed to be a dead short somewhere on the input side of the power supply without any sufficient within device fusing. The power supply is external to the monitor, and is 24v 10a (240w), which is uncommon. Further, it has an uncommon 7.4mm connector with a center pin (like used for Dell laptops) -- 3 wire. There are no easily direct-sourced replacements, and quality units cost half as much as the monitor and would still require some handiwork to connect an appropriate cable and connector. Others on the 'net have reported Power Supply failure as well, and a hunt for a replacement. The power supply has date code "2252", in case someone finds this and wonders if it was just a bad lot / run. Power supply has lots of pretty logos, but no UL listing / UL certification. It does have a "TUV Rhenland certified" mark, which may or may not have any relevance to electrical safety testing.

Perfect with a few important notes to VESA mount users.
It is high resolution MiniLED, so what you get is: + Local Dimming without OLED + Super extreme mega brightness (almost too bright for me) - Weaker viewing angles (Only on dark scenes, blooming will be very apparent when looking at an angle) Apparently MiniLED also introduces some minor lag, but personally I thought this had really good motion clarity, probably because it is also FastIPS. IPS is said to lower contrast compared to VA, but the WAY better motion clarity and local dimming makes this monitor a decent middleground for gamers that are interested in HDR but don't want to get a VA or OLED monitor. Other than that, its a 4K 144+Hz display, what more could you want? As for compatibility, there is only 1 thing you should know, the instructions don't say anything about VESA mounting, and the standard 100x100 plate won't fit flat on the back. You will need to use the included standoffs, contrary to what it says in a different review of this display. Hopefully you have a hex screwdriver handy because that's how you connect them to the back of the monitor, other than that the installation is good. I think the stand is good, it's a square bottom. (in my opinion, much better than the traditional leg design or circular design that takes up an awkward amount of space on my desk). UPDATE2: I figured out what the problem with waking is. When your system is idle and shuts off the displays to save power, typically, this monitor will go into "sleep mode", and then enter "power saving mode" immediately after. This is good for saving power, but when there are multiple monitors connected, both monitors will enter sleep, but then this monitor enters power-saving mode, and then, the 2nd monitor will be woken from sleep mode momentarily. I assume the only solution would be to get another monitor that supports "power saving mode", or have 2 of these, or ask windows to actually put the computer into regular sleep mode when idling.

Bad Quality Control. Purchase = GAMBLE
This is an amazing monitor. It is stunning and has really cool capabilities. However, I believe these people have very bad quality control, because half of the people that get this monitor have it fail in less then a year. Mine stopped working after a month. And the customer service by KTC answers in a couple of business days and did not offer refunds. Amazon however was very nice and offered me a refund even tho a month had passed. So, have in mind when purchasing this monitor that it is a GAMBLE. You might get a fully working, 4K, high FPS and beautiful color panel, or you might get a brick in less then a year. Good luck to anybody purchasing this

Fantastic monitor with stunning visuals, but some quirks to consider
This monitor delivers incredible 4K HDR performance with a high refresh rate, and it’s a great fit for those with powerful GPUs. I tested it on both my laptop (RTX 3070) and desktop (RTX 4060Ti 16GB), and the experience on the desktop was exceptional. Games in 4K HDR at 160Hz look incredibly vibrant, smooth, and detailed. The monitor feels premium and well-made. It’s quite heavy, which adds to the sense of quality, and the design is sleek and modern. It comes with all the necessary cables — USB-C, HDMI, and DisplayPort — which makes setup simple and hassle-free. I did encounter an issue, though. The monitor had trouble waking up from sleep mode, often failing to reconnect and leaving the screen blank. To fix this, I either had to restart the monitor manually or disable sleep mode entirely. After reaching out to KTC support, they suggested turning off DSC (Display Stream Compression) to resolve the issue. For context, DSC is a feature that allows high-bandwidth signals, like 4K at 160Hz, to pass through more efficiently by compressing the data without noticeable loss. Disabling DSC did fix the sleep mode issue, but I noticed a clear drop in image quality — the colors were less vibrant, and the overall sharpness wasn’t the same. To keep the best picture quality, I re-enabled DSC and decided to disable sleep mode instead. This setup has been working perfectly for me. KTC’s support team was responsive and assured me they are looking into the issue. I hope they’ll release a firmware update to fix it in the future. Despite this, the monitor delivers an amazing experience. The HDR visuals, smooth refresh rates, and vibrant colors make it a fantastic choice for gaming or creative work. If you’re aware of the sleep mode quirk and adjust your settings accordingly, it’s a great monitor that’s worth considering.
