Work great in pancakes

My family loves the crunchy (but not too hard) maple sugar chunks. Indeed one would be disappointed if this person is expecting flakes. (The company should probably take out this word Flakes!) We never have to buy the small crunchy yogurt (Chobani Flip) anymore; we just make or buy a quart of yogurt, and add this maple sugar with whatever nuts or frozen fruit that we like. Highly recommended.

I thought these would be maple sugar "flakes," but they are very small, minimally maple flavored rocks. I wanted to enjoy them on my yogurt after reading reviews. Instead, the soft creamy yogurt topped with these extremely hard little rocks, wasn't enjoyable for me at all. I also didn't get much flavor of maple or caramel. I felt distracted eating them on my yogurt with the contrast of soft creamy and hard asf rocks. My teeth hurt after finishing what I started because I didn't want to waste a bowl of yogurt. I let it sit a while thinking the rocks would dissolve, they didn't. They would be better in pancakes, perhaps? If they were smaller or flaked I might be able to enjoy this product. However, as I mentioned, I didn't detect much flavor, just sweet. I can't say this is a bad product just because I didn't enjoy it. I will try them in pancakes as others have commented. Otherwise I'll just use the rocks to sweeten my tea or coffee. No problem with the seller.
