K1C = so much money spent on filament
My first 3d printer... I have been interested in 3d printing for years, but always put it off so the technology could mature a bit. Then i started reading into the new filaments such as pa6 glass and carbon fiber. I decided to give it a try. And i can confirm, i can print out some actually useful stuff. One of the selling features was that i could print out a part i needed and "save" a nice $150. I have printed out several parts that would have cost me $$ by using someone elses designs. I'm still learning cad, I'm getting decent at editing others stuff but i still have a long ways to go where i can build stuff from scratch. Then i ran across a youtube video about 3d printing a life sized b1 battle droid by droid division. Later that day i found myself signing up for Etsy and ordering about $200 worth of abs filament in order to make the print. Probably my favorite thing so far, a starwars battle droid standing in my home office at a nice 6ft 2in. The printer attracted me with open source options, and a pretty decent online support via other users. Also the availability of parts via amazon prime. Once i decided 3d printing was for me, i do wish i sprung for something that could do multi filament. At the time of the order, that would have been a bambu unit. Now creality has the K2 with multi filament options. But for my use, this is great. It's also easy enough to add a pause by editing the gcode in the slicer preview. Move the slider to where you want the print to pause, edit gcode, click add a pause. It will then let you change filament, and then resume. I don't use the phone app, and i don't use the online service. Data collection policies are creepy... China... lol Overall I'm happy with the printer. I set it up, and it printed perfect from day one. Keep a spare nozzle and different build plates on hand. They are magnetic, so it's an easy removal for cleaning under the tap. Also make sure you actually read the instructions and get all of the shipping screws removed. I thought i did and nearly turned my printer on with a few more still in place. Luckily it was set to 220v and i needed to break out the instructions to actually read them before i could get it to turn on... lol

Comically bad support
Print quality and reliability are fair. Out of a dozen prints so far, most printed cleanly with no issues. One filament jam out of the 12. On the other hand, there are a lot of unfinished features and usability issues and the support is absolutely a joke. Without hyperbole, I have never had such a terrible experience. Thankfully I'm inside the Amazon extended holiday return period and I can laugh at how bad this is before I return it and go buy something else. You will inevitably encounter issues with this (or any) 3D printer, but with this one you will not be able to get any kind of support.

New to 3d printing
This is my first ever adventure into 3d printing and the Creality K1C has made it pretty easy. I dove pretty deep into youtube videos to see if this would work for what I wanted to do. I does one single color at a time but with some playing around or with the correct files it will pause so you can change colors during the project. The K1C prints at a real good speed and again with practice the quality of the prints will get better. The K1C has wifi, an app for the phone or wireless device, the new unicorn heat tips and a smoothish adhesion plate. When setting it up for the first time follow the instructions that come in the box and find a good video. The printer will most likely be set to 220 instead of 110 there is a switch on the lower side to change it (I found this out because of a video). It also comes with a nice tool kit that has most things you will need to get started and some filament. The K1C can be upgraded to do more colors for a couple hundred dollars or you could just upgrade to the next size up. The printer can print most of the filaments as it goes to very high temps and being inclosed to hold them very well. The smell is not bad it has a pretty good filter system (I have breathing issues and am sensitive to many smells and it does not bother me.

Poor quality & poor customer support
Poor quality and customer support. The camera in my printer never worked and there was no customer support. The wire harness for the touch screen broke in 2 places. Nozzle clogged after 2 small, simple prints and instructions did not solve clog. Avoid this product.

Awesome, but do the homework to keep it that way.
Wrote a long review expressing dissatisfaction over the printer suddenly failing. Well, the problem was pretty specific, but simple. I suddenly began having problems with layer shift, and after a TON of attempts to fix it, it turns out that the hot end is self lubricating and will eventually build up gobs of old lubricant on the rods the print head travels on causing layer shifts. The fix is to NOT LUBRICATE the rails, but just to use rubbing alcohol to wipe them down every five or so prints. I'm still minorly annoyed that a common issue isn't up front in the documentation, but the printer is functioning as well now as it was on day one after months of 24 hour a day printing. So I'm back to planning on ordering another K1C and two K2+ in the next week or so.

Same Creality nonsense
This machine WILL NOT connect to the CrealityCloud. I've connected to my network, updated the firmware, set the proper time zone as well as tried other time zones and I cannot get past the IOT error. Customer support is no help. The only reply with minimal info once a day on weekdays and not on the weekend. They keep telling me the same thing over and over. Not proactive at all. I guess they really do want me to return this machine. When I told the SC person I was going to return the machine, they told me it would be destroyed. I would probably do that myself if I wasn't out 600 bucks. As far as printing goes, it keeps jamming. There is no way to adjust the extrusion rate. I have to turn the machine off between prints because it gives me a z limit error. Some of this crap may be fixable but I wouldn't know that because customer support is so bad. I have about 12 more days before this goes back in the box and is returned. I'm just waiting to get paid so I can get a Bamdoo machine. Grrrrr

Perfeita

A máquina requer diversas melhorias para perfeito funcionamento. Todas disponíveis em sites de projetos 3D , mas deveriam vir de fábrica. Sem os upgrades apresenta subtrusao e outros problemas
