My little one was diagnosed with asthma, and living in London, this is being triggered more with the high levels of pollution. I’m sure anyone would understand when I say I’d do anything for my child to stop them suffering so after some research I decided to purchase an air filtration unit. There are loads available at the moment but when I saw Clinell sold one, given their reputation with helping prevent infections with their wipes in the NHS, it may be silly but I trusted them a bit more. That and this unit has two HEPA14 filters which capture 99.995% of airborne particles, so a lot more than the other machines sold on Amazon. I have to say it has really helped with their breathing at night and thankfully doesn’t disturb anyone’s sleep with the night time quiet mode. Really recommend.

I manage a small office with a team of 4 in full time plus lots of people coming and going, so my staff have all been very concerned about build-up of air pollution, and their risk of infection. Since opening windows isn’t always possible in the UK, I decided to invest in an air filtration unit to make everyone feel safer. This exact machine has been purchased by the NHS so if it is trusted to work in a hospital it can surely keep an office safe! Medical standards mean it has two very powerful HEPA14 filters, so can clean air throughout a decent sized room, and yet is extremely quiet. My team feel much more confident and it’s a great thing to talk about to office visitors, so they also feel safe coming in. I highly recommend this product!

I bought this unit because I saw it is made by the same people who make Clinell Wipes, which I know are used in all NHS hospitals so they must be good. The unit is even better than I expected as I was concerned about the level of noise and it’s actually really quiet. Apparently, this is because it has two filters, one on each side of the machine, so it can clean air efficiently without making as much noise as other machines. Also, these filters are both Hepa14, which is medical grade vs standard Hepa13 in most of the other equivalent machines I looked at. Overall, I am very happy with it.

This air purifier is incredible, like so many others have mentioned this is the ones you will see in NHS hospitals so you know it is the gold standard. The product itself is very big and bulky so you need to be fully aware of this, it will take up some space even when not in use. By having dual HEPA14 filters it claims to filter out 99.95%, I am no expert, but I can give you my experiences. Its first main use came sadly when we had a nearby fire and were advised to keep all doors and windows closed - this was ignored by someone in the household and by the time we noticed it had been an hour, the filter went on, and the reading was over 300! It then worked it's magic. We have covid currently and have this on it's probably placebo but no one else has caught it and over the summer this magic device really helps with not waking up with terrible hayfever! I honestly love this product and although it's pricey it's worth every penny. With the filters having a 3000 ish hour lifeline I haven't needed it replacing yet and just knowing I will wakeup in the summer mornings and be able to breath out of my nose makes this worth it!

This air filter unit is high quality and durable (as it should be given the £600 price tag!). My office/studio is in a city which isn’t ideal as I am asthmatic. I found the unit easy to set up although I would suggest unpacking it with another person as it’s quite heavy. I have been using it for a couple of weeks now and I do think it makes a difference. There’s a lot of pollen and air pollution where I am at the moment and I definitely feel the air quality in my studio has been better. The unit is heavy and larger than home air purifiers usually are. For that reason it’s probably not going to be suitable for home use unless you have large rooms. However, it’s perfect for larger spaces and people who need a better quality air filter than the cheaper ones that are sold for domestic use.
