These sleeves were more than I thought they would be,I used my sharpest knife and just ran it across my arm nothing happened at all it was like a magic trick,these are tough no matter what you're doing hiking through the woods,gardening working with roses or plants that have stickers they won't get through and you cannot be cut, incredible actually at the beginning it left me speechless when my knife didn't do anything to it, when buying something like this make sure you're looking at A5 through A9,this one was an A9 which makes it the hardest to go through,if you want something that's durable and works real good this is a product for you.

They feel comfortable and are plenty long enough. I don’t think the Velcro straps are necessary as long as you have normal sized muscles. (Just a joke) I was hoping they would be thicker but they should hold my plastic plates in place.

Enjoy the arm sleeves very much. I am on blood thinners and the slightest touch of a stick or twig or thorn causes bleeding. They also protect me from poison ivy. They are easy to put on and take off, seem very durable, and I would buy then again if they wear out or are damaged. They are warm on your arm - in hot weather, you will sweat while wearing them.

Worked perfectly to protect arms when my hsb is out trimming shrubbery. So easy to slide on and Velcro's in place; appears very durable w/ the stretchy fabric use to make them. The do not generate heat, but keep the arms cool f/ the breathable material the sleeves are made from. Great value and so worth the money.... plus, they look nice and love the bright material.

Light weight and much cooler than the Kevlar sleeves my company supplies us for certain jobs. I personally am all about safety. They offer great protection from the steel bands we have to pop off our incoming production materials. Comfort is just as important to me as safety. After all, if you're not comfortable performing a job you're likely to underperform. These sleeves are so much lighter that I barely notice that they're on. Except for the other guys giving me a hard time about wearing them constantly. That saves a great deal of time for those occasional jobs they're required for. No more looking for the bulky, itchy Kevlar sleeves no one wants to wear even when they have to. It still hasn't gotten very hot at my job yet. We shall see if they're still cool then. UPDATE: they did stay cool as the summer ground on getting hotter and hotter. Even at the upper levels of the machines I work on directly under the hot roof heated by the sun and the residual heat from the machines. They became very itchy though. They velcro straps around the biceps began to fall apart. The velcro itself began to scratch my skin.

Not bad, my husband still has to put them to the test. But they are quite loose even on him. I wish they were a bit tighter that way that stay in place. That way you don't have to solely rely on the velcro straps to keep them up. I will update once they get used.
