It takes a little bit of time to get used to running the unit, but it has plenty of power and does not use a lot of battery life.I edged my whole yard and both sides of the driveway and only used 1/3 the power of the battery but I was using a five amp hour battery also.

I like my new lawn tool the yard looks much cleaner. It's very quiet so the neighbors don't complain about the noise. Just one thing batteries are not included so you have to buy a separate charger when you make the purchase.

This item works surprisingly well. DeWalt 20V fits perfectly. The only downside for me is that it throws dirt pretty far. Other than that I love it so far.

Had to pull one of the contact pins out so it made contact with the battery.

Thought it'd have the power like some of my other DeWalt battery powered products. Alas, it'd just stall out unless I gently moved it...my Echo weed wacker does a better & faster job.

Needed a battery operated edger and didn’t want to spend a lot of money on one. Already had several Dewalt battery operated yard tools and this was the perfect purchase! Works even better than anticipated! Light weight and easy to control. No assembly was required. Great purchase for little money.
