Updated review: While I had earlier posted a glowing review, I have to say that I am now suspicious about whether this product really does its main job which is sun protection. Firstly it is transparent which means it doesn't contain the most effective sun protection ingredients such as titanium dioxide or zinc oxide. Secondly, my skin which tans very easily has worsened in hyperpigmentation. Also, no list of ingredients is mentioned in the listing (why?) except a few things like niacinamide which is not sun protective. The bottle itself has the tiniest ever font for the ingredient list. However I zoomed in through my camera and then ran the list through AI which confirmed that none of the ingredients are known for sun protection! Here is the list if you want to check for yourself: Ingredients: Aqua (Water), Ethylhexyl Stearate, Glycerin, Glyceryl Stearate SE, Hydrogenated Coco-Glycerides, Cetearyl Alcohol, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract, Bisabolol, Glucose, Stearic Acid, Palmitic Acid, Lactic Acid, Sodium Hydroxide, Carbomer, Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Tocopherol. Old review: This is finally a true gel sunscreen. It's a whitish translucent colour and goes on really smooth and not at all greasy. I bought the acne version just because it was the only type that claimed to be sweat proof which is very necessary in the humidity of Bombay. It does what it claims. The first time I tried it I did see a few pimples on my chin despite my skin not being very acne prone but that often happens with a new product. Overall this is the best sunscreen I have ever used and I have used a lot. If I have any complaint it's that although the packaging is a cute egg shape you cannot keep it standing (the photo is a bit misleading). Oh and also if you try to apply any powder over it it pills. I haven't tried it with foundation or concealer.

I used the AcneXpert Mattifying SPF 50 PA ++++ Niacinamide for Oil & Acne Control sunscreen gel during the summer and humid weather conditions (mostly indoor use). It has a gel like consistency and was quick to absorb on my oily skin. It has a matte finish like the brand claimed. However, I am disappointed about the acne control claims made by the brand. It did absolutely nothing for my existing acne nor did it do to prevent any further occurrence. It is just an average sunscreen gel.
