The headboard arrived more quickly than expected and I was very pleased with headboard material, appearance and manufacture. Unfortunately the bottom corner of the base was broken, clearly as a result of having been dropped or pivoted on that corner. After contacting the seller I was offered a partial refund to reflect the damage, which I was happy to accept.

The headboard has a beautifully soft material. I was worried before ordering that the material may look nice in the pictures but then not be nice to the touch. But the material has a soft suede feel to it and looks cosy in the warm glow of the evening light.The headboard itself is fairly well finished but not perfect by any means. If you look closely the rivets are not parallel across the headboard but the quality of the material and buttons are good.The thickness of the headboard is decent. There’s a firmness that is supportive without being rigid. At around an inch thick it’s not the most plump but certainly does the job.As my bed has no connector for the headboard I’ve propped it up against the wall and the long MDF based feet works perfectly in this context.

Good value for money, looks nice, fit for purpose. I didn’t check if the headboard fixing bolts were part of the purchase, my fault, it meant I had to order those separately, but still very happy with purchase.

Well I am 82 my husband is 80 the headboard is still in the hall as we do not have the strength to even move it. Waiting for somebody to help us move it.

Absolute bargain for price , looks much more expensive and well made with plenty of padding
