Great little heater
Warms my room fast ,small light weight, stylish, and cheap to run approx 19p per hour,,my only worry is my cats ,this heater is so light i have to watch the cats don't knock this off the cabinet it's standing on ,,there is no temperature control to adjust heat,,wouldn't trust leaving this on whilst sleeping, and I turn it off if I'm leaving the room ,but even with all that it's a great little heater, warms me up really fast and I love it ,ideal to warm what ever space you are in ,deff a great buy ,

Disappointed
Two stars one for design and the other for weight. Ordered 2, one Arrived unsealed with the plug pins bent, the other unsealed with the sound of something moving inside it. As only the second one works and no replacement option offered on the first , only refund. I would say I am disappointed with my purchase.

Good for small spaces
Being familiar with the brand. I bought two of these, the first turned on then the overheat protection turned it off and that was that - busted heater never came back on. Returned for a refund. The second one has been working for a few weeks in my kitchen. It heats the 7sqm space quite nicely, takes the chill off in about 10 mins and reaches a pleasant warmth in about half an hour. The cost of energy to do this is about 8 pence. So much cheaper than the 2kw fan heater I had before. It's small and fits the space perfectly. If you don't have a lot of room and need a heater I would recommend this - if your space is larger and you have the room go for the Warmlite 1KW tower - that really packs a punch.

Beautiful little heater with big heat and at only 550 watts is cheap to run. Totally satisfied.
Absolutely great heater, such big heat for a small size, the only thing that i was wondering is... Is the heater supposed to turn itself on and off periodically ?

Great little heater. Packed up on 2nd day.
Was great while it lasted. Classy little number. Using half the power of many alternatives but still offering reasonable heat. Would indeed be good if either one or both bars could be selected. Stopped working after 2 days' normal use. If it was for me, I might get another and hope it lasted longer.. if does come with a 2 yr guarantee. But it was a gift for my mum, so I won't risk the replacement being a dud, too.

Nice design to look at - use with caution
This is a small radiant heater of a nice stylish design. The casing is plastic which is a bit of a surprise for a heater built around glowing hot elements. It is described as a desk heater - which is bit ambiguous, but it is ideal if you have come in from the cold, and want the temporary comfort of something shining heat onto you. You can put it on the floor, or on a piece of furniture, but the instructions suggest a heat resistant surface, and definitely not a carpet. In fact you must keep anything flammable at a safe distance. On the subject of safety, there are 37 bullet points in the instructions about what to do and what not to do which illustrates perhaps the caution needed. There is a tilt switch that will stop the heater if it gets tipped over - however it could still be dangerous if tipped near paper, plastic or cloth as the elements stay glowing for a while - possibly enough to set something on fire if it was flat down on it. There is an overheat cutout - I have had two examples of this heater and on both the overheat cutout switches the heater off for about 20 seconds every 3 or 4 minutes even in normal use - which is quite annoying. Is the heater really overheating, or is the overheat cutout just a bit too sensitive? It is impossible to say, but the measured wattage was quite a lot higher than the 550 watts advertised so my guess is it is likely to be overheating. The bottom line is that you should never leave this heater unattended and always be wary of something that gets so hot. I would not recommend it for anyone who is infirm, not fully "with it", drowsy or likely to fall asleep, or anywhere near children. One last point is that the flex is both short and quite stiff, whilst the heater weighs little, so it would not be difficult to flip the heater by moving the flex - another potential hazard. If you are happy using a smoothing iron, a grill or hotplate, then you should be able to use this heater safely.

Very nice and good product. Really worth the money. It automatically gets switched off if the area is hotter than needed and will turn on again after a while. It has tripped off also option. Just now started using it; don’t know the electricity usage. The guidelines say 19 cents per hour.
