Baja Designs Motorcycle Squadron Sport (D/C) Headlight Kit with Red Shell

Well made and designed headlight. The wiring is also made well and the connectors are of good quality. Works nicely on an xr650r which has a DC conversion(i bought the DC version of the lamp)i bought the additional harness as well to get power to the switch.

Works fine and super bright, but soft plastic and short screws strip easy. Also light doesn’t articulate downward enough to put light on the trail rather than the sky. Expected more for the $.

Fit my 2022 CRF125 pit bike. I had to use the smaller of the adapters included. Also when installing the adapter I had to drill 1 1/4 hole so the light can be mounted at the very top of the bracket. If not it won’t set level enough and the light will point towards the sky. On the bike I just had to bend a metal bracket that had a wire clip a couple inches back and everything fit really good. I didn’t have the highest expectations of it fitting cause it’s such a small bike. The rubber things hold it pretty well, they sell a hard mount kit ( the part. # is in the instructions). Which replaces the rubber mounts with metal. But I don’t think you really need them. Over all it’s pretty good. The aiming thing doesn’t work that good and for my the foam around the light was messed up I had to remove it and put it back on correct. But it’s the fastest way to add a light if your bike doesn’t have a specific lighting kit or adapter for it. I wish Baja designs when back to there roots designing dual sport kits for non street legal trail bikes and made better stuff for the conversions.
