Very pleased! Just hard to get
We recently switched to this dog food after experiencing some stomach issues with other plant-based brands. Our dogs have some health challenges but both do well on plant-based meals. I’ve been cooking for them but needed to supplement to stretch out the food and provide added nutrients for peace of mind. This has been the closest to what I cook in that it does not have potatoes, which recently have become a digestive issues for both, even in small amounts. Most plant based food has sweet potatoes or potato starch. This agrees with them. Also, I noticed the seasonal feet licking and ear irritation has stopped with this brand! My only reason for the 4 stars is availability. Now that I’ve switched them to this brand, I can’t get it! It will be another couple of months before this will ship again. That leaves them without food. We all know how hard it is to change a pet’s diet without stomach upset. This is disturbing. But I have to say this was a problem with our last couple of brands as well. I guess more cooking for me. I’d love to have them on this regularly.

It’s only a 4 pound bag
For some reason I thought this was a bigger bag. Very expensive for 4 pounds.

Great, just vet said to add Taurine, not always in stock
I loved the quality of the ingredients of this food. My bulldog loved it had NO issues eating it- no upset tummy or vomiting. Even though not fully vegan (Those foods usually give you the warning of adding taurine to supplement) my vet told me I still needed it with this food. My dog loved the NaturVet taurine chewable. The only hard thing about this is it's not always in stock (here or Chewy) so sometimes order extra or make sure you get it way b4 you run out.

No more skin issues!
My Doberman has very sensitive/itchy skin. I’ve tried every protein you can think of.. everything makes her break out. I had to put her on a hydrolyzed diet and medication from her veterinarian that she absolutely hated. I’m a vegan myself so I thought why not? After a few veg dog food attempts, THIS BRAND IS IT. The only food my very picky itchy Doberman will eat. Skin is healed too, what meds? #veganpower 💪
