When did lamps get so expensive-Geesh! These however were relatively inexpensive, but don’t look cheap. The textured shade really sets these off and makes them look very nice. They were exceptionally easy to assemble and seem very sturdy. They are a good size for a small night stand. They creates a warm cozy ambiance.

This is quite a nice lamp. I was sketical of the lampshade but it was easy to assemble and looks great. I installed a 40 watt incandascent bulb and it puts off a warm glow, which is what I wanted.

The main body of these lamps are built well, but the shades are of poor quality. The shades come as flat units that clip onto two hoops to form one piece. They look OK when the light is not on, but when the light is on I can see the little clips surrounding the top and bottom hoops.

Exactly like the picture, looks perfect in my boyfriends room on his nightstand. I would recommend buying it ! only reason i gave it 4 strs instead of 5 is that the shade seam is a little obvious

They are just what I wanted for my guest room lamps. Assembly was a snap and they look very good.

I just received this lamp. I opened the box, read the directions (another reason to read directions!) and immediately arranged to ship it back to Amazon. I didn't bother to remove any of the contents from the box. Why? Because not only do you need to assemble the lamp base, which I don't mind and have done before, but YOU HAVE TO ASSEMBLE THE LAMPSHADE!! Yeah! The directions include how to put together the wire frame for the shade and then how to wrap the pre-cut fabric around the frame. NO WAY, NOT DOIN' IT. What if I make a mistake? I'll have to live with it and hate the lamp every time I look at it. I liked this little lamp and was looking forward to using it in my bedroom. The product description had a warning that it's returned often but almost all the reviews were positive. However, nowhere -- not in the product description/information nor in the reviews – was there any mention at all that the buyer must put together the lampshade. No wonder folks return the lamp. So, hopefully, there will now be at least one review that let's people know.
