Great camera with dual lens
This camara is great. Very good price. I like the dual camera with human tracking. Very easy to setup and remote access by internet.

Constantly having to restart
There’s an option to smear or erase the areas you don’t need and it doesn’t work. The motion detection is set on the lowest motion detection and it continues to pick up objects (lawnmower) that’s not even moving or a human. I’ve smeared & erased that area multiple times but no luck. I also keep needing to restart the camera because it’s freezing up. Save your money.

VSTARCAM Outdoor Security Camera Dual Lens Camera
I am not very tech savvy. I got the VSTARCAM Outdoor Security Camera Dual Lens Camera for our front property. I didn't realize it needed to be plugged into an outlet. It was too much of a hassle for me to set it up, so my son took it for his home. As long as you have an outlet nearby, its doable. It can be hardwired to a modem or used wirelessly with wifi. The picture quality is very good in both the day and night time. The camera has a 360° view and scans whenever movement is detected. The voice is a bit annoying. The set up is pretty simple once it is installed. It's a pretty simple camera, nowhere near "high tech" now that I have watched it in action at my son's house. Value for the money is good.

Great camera for a low pice
I have three of these setup throughout my home. the picture is crystal clear even motion is pretty good. I like the O-Kam app on my phone and ipad. now when I am traveling I can check on our house at any time, anywhere. I have a temp monitor set up near one of the camera and I can verify temperature and humidity in my house as well. Each of the moveable cameras have 5 presets you can use to look at specific places. very handy. I haven't really used the humanoid recognition or alarm features, but I suspect they would work fine. I also like the microphone allowing you to hear and or speak in the area. I had some earlier versions of these VStar cams I bought in 2011, I decided to retire and upgrade them, but they were still working after more than 10 years.

Real short power cable but everything else seems great so far.
First off, this camera is a bit larger than most but not overly much. I guess with the extra camera involved, I should have expected it to be.The mounting base was fortunately large enough to hold the wire connectors within. There are three pigtails coming out from the camera. I have no idea what the 1st one is. It looks like it could be a reset button, there is no documentation at all that describes it or much else about the camera itself. There is a reset button in the area where the TF card goes (I assume its a reset, again no doco on it) that would be easier to get to than this one on the pigtail. The second pigtail is an ethernet connection, a weather proofing enclosure was provided to help keep it dry. (more assumptions due to lack of documentation)The 3rd pigtail was a power connection easy enough to figure out where that plugged in... It connects to the 120vac to 12vdc power transformer that they provide. Again, obvious but nothing documented. Fortunately it is a standard 2.1mm x 5.5mm connection, because the maximum distance one could get from an outlet to the camera as it is supplied, would be about 2-2.5 feet.I know that one size would not make everyone happy, I understand why they supply it with it short like it is, and for me, having the short pigtail where I could make the connection and hide it in the base was perfect. But I think something like "cable lengths" and "connection measurements" should be included in the product description so that a person can get prepared with everything needed before installation day arrives. Myself, I needed another 35' to get to my power source. It was easy to get an extension cable, but I couldn't do so until the camera arrived. Only then could I measure the connector, calculate the needed length, and make another order then wait to install. The setup was fast and easy and the app seems fairly easy to navigate. (Just a few translation hiccups that leave you wondering just what exactly they are trying to let you know the meaning of)I would like to change the position that the two different camera views are presented. As it is by default, the fixed camera view (even though it is physically above the tracking camera) is shown below the tracking camera view. (I reached out to see if there was a way to change it, but was informed that it wasn't possible... and with no hint that it would be considered for future updates or not)Picture quality looks pretty good, and I like the "auto zoom" function, however with the little testing I did regarding this, it seemed it did a lot of zooming in and out trying to get honed in on something. I'll give it another go without condemning it because while testing, I was in a small environment and not the actual location. ( I didn't have the length cable needed at the time)The notification from the time motion was detected to my phone chiming to let me know somethings up was fairly quick. I didn't test the siren part of the camera, it didn't interest me... but the lighting works great, and is very bright. I myself don't care for it but you can have the light flash when motion is detected if you like. I didn't see a place in the app that allowed me to set the time frame that the light would stay on once its activated. I'll keep looking but I'm afraid that is something that is "auto mode" only.So in the review I mentioned there was no documentation for the camera. While that is true, it did come with a multilingual manual that got you into the app and a small card that showed bracket installation on one side and a picture with component labeling on the other. I muddled through it so I guess others could also, as a whole... I do like this camera, the price isn't too high.

Think twice!
This product does not give the price for the annual subscription until after you agree to the 30 day trial for $0.99. It’s well over $125 for annual use. I think my Ring is way better and the fee is less than $50 annually.

Not Impressed
With all the good reviews on this camera I kinda hate to dump on it but....this cam sucks. First, I had one of these last all of one day then stopped responding no matter what I tried and I'm fairly technologically savvy so I tried everything I knew and it was just dead. (it was plugged in A/C power while setting up and trying to diagnose why it wouldn't respond btw) Got a replacement, installed it and after one day, you guessed it, it also stopped responding. I was a little concerned about the distance from the house but for one, the first camera was mounted right above our front door and two, even with the second cam on the pole near the house, it's still twice as close as the cam in the pic is to the home on it's website. Nowhere on the website or users manual does it state a range for this camera. As high as this cam is mounted I haven't yet gone through all the diagnostics....again....but I'm pretty much done with it. Even when both cams were working they were very glitchy, the second cam had to be reset three times before it would even read the QR code necessary to complete installation. Spend more, get a better cam.

Not for the North
I had to return these because we live in Massachusetts and I didn’t believe they would withstand the snow or icicles my mother’s house has but they worked well! I would say if you live in a harsher climate or somewhere with a lot of weather maybe try a sturdier brand
