This works.. I was worried as soon as I pulled it out of the packaging it would be useless as it is made pretty cheaply. Like it basically weighs nothing, feels like if you dropped it may break apart, but after 2 months of having it and dropping it a few times it’s held up just fine. Got it for protection reasons (legal in my county/jurisdiction) and my partner accidentally used it on himself and it 100% works and I feel it would be a pretty good deterrent for humans/animals if hit. He said it wasn’t about a 5 on the pain scale, but was extremely jarring. It’s the smallest cattle prod I could find on Amazon and it’s still kinda bulky but it fits most of the way into my sweatpants pocket. I would definitely say it’s worth it for the money if you don’t break it right away. If I break the one I have I’ll likely buy another one of these. Simple to use only one switch and one button, and also has a light. The light is dim but it has been helpful when I let my dogs out at night and need to pick up poop.

Product came inoperable. Will not charge. Sounds like something is dislodged inside the component. Wrote to seller and was basically blown off stating they do a quality check before it shipping. Well someone missed the quality on this one.

So I bought this product for security purposes. I didn't anticipate on this being as big as it is. And I was hoping that it would have a higher voltage. I haven't used it on anything yet, but I probably should get something a little more smaller and easier to conceal when thinking of having something for a sense of security. I bought this when finally the advice of a YouTube uploader when she suggested for something like this or a cattle prod when being able to protect yourself from an attacker. So this is possibly a judgment off of my era rather than anything negative or too critical of the seller. The product is as it was advertised. So you're basically getting exactly what you paid for which is a very good thing.

Comes with what's called test pins to put on the contacts. No explanation about them, if they are to stay on or not. They come off easy and as far as I have found, you can't buy replacement pins and I've already lost one. So I can't do a function test unless I try zapping someone. If someone has some insight into this, sure would like to know.

I walk my dogs on the regular and it's not uncommon for off-leash dogs to approach them. I don't know if the dog is friend or foe but my first responsibility is the safety of my dogs. I carry a small air horn which has always worked but if the approaching dog doesn't respond, I got this in case things go bad. Out of the box, it's a bit larger than I would like but it fits in the hand nicely. There are divots for your fingers, which is a nice touch. It includes a lanyard. The device has what they call a light but I don't think it will illuminate much. As for the device's ability to prod, I have to assume it will since I don't want to prod anything, including myself. It's made of plastic. It's from China. It's about what you'd expect. There are two caps with points and I had no idea what you use them for and the instructions (which are somewhat understandable) is silent about them but I see from the listing that they will make noise. It works. It certainly got my dog's attention. For the price, I'd say this one is worth a try.

Works really well, gives strong jolt without causing injury. If you're curious about using it for bdsm, it's much stronger than the ta zapper, but not like a self defense taser. You'll really feel it on sensitive parts. Great for your sub!

It doesn't even deserve 1 star....😡 It didn't work at all. When you shake it, you can hear everything inside rattle around, it's like something you would purchase at the dollar tree.
