These are plastic backed and have 6 tabs and won't leak out the sides I recommend these.
Very good absorbancy along with the security that the 6 tabs give towards having a snug fit so the brief doesn't slide down over time. They are plastic backed and they could be louder but I'll take plastic backed over cloth backed anytime of the year so far for a reliable diaper these would have to top the tater I'm afraid so I will continue to purchase these monthly as they are exactly the style of brief I like plastic and 6 tabs instead of two or 4 6 is perfect!! Recommend these for anyone wanting a trusted diaper that won't leak out the sides

Absolutely the worst diapers
My 10 year old son is disabled. We miscalculated his diapers and ran out of the kind we usually get (Tranquility). This was the only diaper available in his size that would arrive quickly. Because of his muscle tone problems, we really NEED tab style diapers, not pull-ups, so choices are limited. These are, without a doubt, the absolute WORST diapers we have ever used. The PLASTIC material is cheap and frequently tears whenever we need to slightly adjust the diaper during a change. The tabs stick so badly to the plastic that they tear off the plastic during removal, making it impossible to securely close it up for disposal. These are ENORMOUS - Not an accurate fit. The plastic is awful, does not seem comfortable, and is very noisy. We will NEVER buy these diapers again. Please do not use them on anyone who is nonverbal and cannot express what they think about them. Use your own common sense - these are horrible!

Good fit on the legs with elastic fluting.
Delivery was very fast, the estimate was 2-4 days and it arrived the very next day instead! This is our second order using these adult diapers, so obviously we like the product. The first tabbed ones I tried from a local box store were horrible. So I searched for the Depend brand online. These tabbed Depend ones are most like the Depend pull-ons we had been using but with an easy-to-dress people who are bed-ridden. The 3 tabs make it easy to adjust loose or tight depending on body type and I've opened and readjusted the fit at times. They have elastic fluting on the legs so there is better fit around the legs and bum, unlike those store bought horrors. There is enough cotton batting to absorb diarrhea, I cannot evaluate urine, the person is catharized. But the solids captured was what we needed. My only ding on this purchase was the state of the box when it was left. My first purchase was enclosed in an Amazon box, this one was shipped in the product box. If you didn't want others to read the box contents while sitting on your step this would not satisfy you. I don't care but the state of that box was a concern for me. It was clearly opened after the factory packing. The re-taping was careless and almost insufficient. Two strips sideways to hold the flaps down rather than along the long opening. Also the box was beat up on one end. I opened and made sure the product was undamaged and it seemed to be fine, the interior 3 plastic packages were unopened and what I had ordered. I will continue to order this particular adult diaper for as long as needed since it works well for us, I am not sure if Amazon sends the product from different vendors and that is why the different shipping box or if Amazon packs things inconsistently. Small ding in the big picture of life.

Eh, tabs are weak and don't work often (esp if get slightly wet)
It's okay, but the tabs are cumbersome. I was looking for the side tab type of diapers for loved one, so I can remove and change without taking pants off, etc. This was fairly good, but no one else would touch them. 3 tabs on each side (6 tabs in full) are fairly week, and takes a lot of effort to unseal. If you fingers are wet (like just bathed recipient), they immediately don't stick! I recently tried another brand that has just single big tabs with velcro which works perfectly for us. We do like Depends for other products, but not for this. Been very happy with below brand I will continue getting in bulk. They Can Handle a Lot
Been very happy with the "performance" of these items in terms of containing both urine and feces for a bedridden female. So far no leakage or complains of discomfort. The side tabs make changing easy if the person can lift their hips from the bed. Highly recommend pads under the patient if heavier bowel moments to prevent soiling the sheets.

One of the best
We are using these because we bought a big package. There are some pros and cons. By the time they are gone, we'll know more. Pros: good absorption. We have used as overnight once successfully. We change on schedule, not full indicator. Ample extra edges for wraparound. Patient is Bedfast, so we want no back leaks. We like being able to connect with little risk of binding or rubbing. Three closures Con: TAPE. The tapes do work and can be opened to get at wound dressing. Then re-stuck, once. We have a lot of paper tape and create a different connection if we must. Velcro tape would make these great.

I ordered this for my uncle as he uses because of some medical issues. Very comfortable and easily manageable. Very satisfying.

These tabbed protection briefs (ok, face it they are diapers, so there!) are good for their purpose. The overall shape and the various elasticized parts allow them to fit well. The tape tabs give some adjustment so that they fit your body, and the absorbtive filling can take several loads. The filling absorbs what you give it and generally won't leak it out once soaked up. I have not had leaks in up to 8~10 hours of sleep and use. (They will leak, of course, if you give too much, ie say more than two beer cans worth) I am recovering from a prostatectomy, and have been trying and testing various types of protection, sometimes beyond what is needed for that particular recovery. I rate these "good-to-overkill" for that type of recovery, but they are for sure adequate. That said, there are some other things to be aware of. The tape tabs are not easily reset, and you can easily tear the plastic pants if not careful. The tape can oddly let go after a few hours, and the legs can leak if you flood. Therefore I often add my own stickier tape right at the legs and waist, to firm up the fit. I find the waist can slip down, so I often put some briefs over top to keep the diaper in place. They do "crinkle", and are noisier than pull-ups. They seem to hold in smells better than pull-ups. They get way more sweaty than pull-ups, but they catch what you give it in more positions. If I am doing physical work that gets me into different positions quickly, I'd use these rather than pull-ups, as they will catch flows better over more positions. Some pull-ups really require you to be in an exact vertical position to avoid leaks. It is still better to be vertical than lying down with these units, but you have less chance of a spill if you have to be horizontal. Gravity will still win, given a chance. These would be much better than pull-ups for #2, as pull-ups have no resistance to leaks in the stretch parts at the tops and would leak a mess right away (ewww!). These hold a lot more than a pull-up without sagging down. They are harder to put on than a pull-up, in that you may need to sit or lie down to get the tape in place: I have determined where the tape should be, and "pre-tape" them so I can step into them like a pull-up. Overall, a well thought out product that handles a sometimes awkward issue well. I use pull-ups for known simple days, but I put these on if I expect to be away from facilities for long times, or if I expect to be physically active or otherwise pushing the boundaries of what a pull-up can handle.

This product is very absorbent, very discrete, 360 degree secured elastics to help minimize leaks. they are comfortable and very low cost from a variety of online and in person stores and pharmacies. i recommend this product if you are incontinent with both bladder as well as bowel. they are great for ab/dl people, and affordable for even low income individuals. however what i dont like is, i didnt seem to find any companies or websites that have this product for free sampling.
