Easy to fit
So far do good after having 3 punctures before installing on the same route, today I did the route again with no issues. I realise this isn't guarantee that it's working but a start. These were easy to install with about a 2 inch overlap built in which I didn't crop any further to ensure wouldn't nip inner tube

Bike Tyre Liner
No punctures so far, not sure if by luck or the liners are working. They are very sturdy so can't see much penetrating them. Installed these as an alternative to slime

Tyre must not be too floppy to fit.
Tyre must be quite rigid to fit the puncture resistant strip. Not easy at all if tyre is floppy. Too early to say if reduces puncture risk. The green one is wide enough for a 23 or 25. Brown for 28 or more.

Not convinced
Easy to fit. I have had a puncture since. So who can say if it protected or not?

Did a 60 mile ride with these on.
These are pretty good, but be aware they do add weight to the tyre.

Absolutely brilliant
I was a bit apprehensive because I had been told if you don't put in the tyre correctly then it could pinch and puncture the inner tube But I was able to install correctly I used to get a puncture on at least a weekly basis but in the month I've this installed this the only puncture I got was a knife blade and nothing else so very happy

Puncture protection but not against Hawthorne.
I thought I’d try these as I do a fair bit of mountain biking which often takes me down trails lined with hawthorn which, after cutting season, causes havoc for cyclists. 150 miles later, over half of which were on road, I get a puncture despite having these fitted. Sure enough it’s Hawthorne. I remove the spike from the tyre and while doing so thought I’d try the Hawthorne directly into the ‘protection’ belt. Guess what… it went straight through it with minimal effort. Didn’t even snap the point ! Now maybe I was just unlucky. Maybe I inadvertently placed my rear wheel directly over the strongest and toughest Hawthorne spike that has ever been grown and, just maybe, that spike had an amazing superpower that told it exactly where the weak spot in my armour was before it carefully positioned itself at just the right angle and penetrated my protection, who knows ? My guess is they’re just not up to it. If you’re nipping down the shop on your bike every other day then these might help you a little. If like me, you take your riding seriously and want to bomb through the trails not having to worry about punctures then I’d look elsewhere. These just don’t do it.

Round off the sharp edges or it does more harm than good.
Installed these on my son's bike as I was sick of fixing punctures. Followed the instructions and cut the tape to size. Not the easiest thing to fit as it moves around inside the tire as you turn it and inflate the innertube. We are now six months in and whilst the tape may stop thorns and sharp objects from piercing from outside, the sharp edges of the tape itself have lacerated the innertube! If you use this, make sure that you round off the corners once you have cut it to length.
