Thai Tom Yum Soup | Tom Kha Fresh Ingredients | Kaffir Lime Leaves, Fresh Galangal and Fresh Lemongrass

The media could not be loaded. We visited Thailand, and I have re-created some dishes, but there were certain things I could not find here. Unbelievable to me that this bundle is available. I am more than thrilled and super happy. I have used it. I’ve made three different dishes. The flavor is phenomenal. Everything is fresh and completely appropriate for use. And clean, well packaged. The delivery was quick, and I was updated all along the way. I will definitely order this again and I encourage you to order it.As in all reviews, there are always some negatives. I noticed that a few said that they items were not as fresh as they should’ve been. That is a risk every time you buy something like this, no matter what it is, unless it’s being delivered from your grocery store in the same town or the next town over. Well for me it was definitely worth the risk and completely worth the price.If I could add 10 stars for a value for price, I would.

This is the second time I’ve purchased this package from this seller and I will purchase again. It comes quickly and is always fresh. These are items I have a hard time finding in my local grocery stores so I appreciate the seller making these available. We love making Tom Kha Gai soup and this has everything you need to make those flavors pop! The lemongrass stocks are thick and fragrant. That’s very hard to find in those little pre-packaged ones they sell at the grocery store. Galangal is near impossible to find. Lime leaves? Yeah I guess if you have a tree in your backyard! It’s a great value for the money and it lasts several weeks well wrapped in the refrigerator. You’ll have fun using it for all kinds of recipes. Made myself hungry just talking about it!

First time I ordered, everything came fresh in plastic bags individually rapped..i was very impressed...This time I ordered everything came in used paper bags.. Kaffir leaves were dried ...ginger has mold on it...Chili peppers are wilted.. lemongrass looked and felt like it was frozen at one time.. Everything was unusable..ended up throwing everything away...Waste of money

This came quickly. The ingredients were fresh, and provided the basics of what I needed to make soup. However, the galangal came as a few odd-sized pieces, rather than one large piece. I wasn't sure how to store, so much was wasted here. In future, I would buy a larger piece of galangal separately, so I have something I can plant, and probably buy other items separately in the quantity I need.

I love love love that I can get these wonderful, fresh, hard to find in my area ingredients so that I can make several Thai dishes every week. This is hands down one of my favorite Amazon purchases EVER. There is absolutely nothing I can say that's not positive. Delivery was quick, everything was very well packaged, and the price is great. They lasted a good amount of time in the fridge too.

I realize that vendor reviews are in a separate area, but when dealing with perishable items such as this, the vendor DOES make a difference as to the quality of the item, and therefore also to the review of the item itself. I was skeptical about ordering produce in this fashion, but the other positive reviews and my desire for the ingredients won out. I'm so glad I took the chance! :)My order arrived two days before the earliest delivery estimate. In the high-90s heat we've been having right now, that makes a big difference, as did the fact that it was very well packed and obviously very fresh produce to begin with. The items were of excellent quality and generous portions. I can make an insane amount of Tom Yum soup now and have enough left over to throw together some other delicious dishes.Give it a try. I think you too will be very pleased! :)

I can’t say enough good things. The food was fresh, delicious, and we whipped up Tom Yum Gai in half hour with an authentic, bright, spicy flavor. Thank you so much for this service. I will order again immediately.

Who knew you could buy this at Amazon/Fresh Foods. Though shouldn't have been surprised. However, it does have a lot and is pretty expensive. Unless you use a lot of this regularly, it is cheaper to but in smaller quantities from Fresh. I did make a very delicious soup.
