Decent thickness not like cheap Saran. Being in a box like this makes it easier for use and like the glide cutter for convenience and system work well.

After learning that my long-time plastic wrap from Sam's Club wasn't microwave safe, I switched to PAMI. Health and safety are my priorities, so the fact that this is BPA-free and specifically labeled microwave safe gave me peace of mind. I've used it for two months, and it’s been fantastic. The wrap itself is high quality, but the standout feature is the slide cutter. It was very easy to install on the box and makes using the wrap so much easier. If you’re looking for a reliable and safe plastic wrap for your kitchen, this is the one!

We go through so much of this wrap and run out all the time. Not now. This'll last a good long time. Easily tears away on the serated strip.

I'm leaving my original review below, but I think this update is more important: I usually use plastic bowls and storage containers, and this film doesn't stick to those. But when I use metal or glass bowls, this makes an easy and tight seal. It's plenty strong as well. I was having problems tearing the film when I was trying to stretch it to make it stick to the plastic containers. I thought that's how I should have done it, but I was wrong. It doesn't need to be stretched any more than to make it flat when pulling it across a metal or glass container, so it's plenty strong for that. So, I've very pleased with this now. The only reason I'm not giving it a five-star rating is that it doesn't use a sliding cutter bar but rather a sawblade metal one. The sliding bars are so much nicer to use! I'm glad that I removed my slider from my used-up film could install it on this box. Given what I've found out, I'd be happy to buy this brand again (though this will last me a LONG time!) This works, but I have to be more cautious about using it so I don't put a hole in it when I'm trying to pull it tight to seal something. I can manage with that, but I was really hoping that this wrap would cling to a bowl and make a tight seal. That's not happening (unless I wrap the plastic all around the bowl and attach it to itself, but even then it tends to unwrap). I put a two dozen raisins in a bowl and covered it with this wrap, pulling it tight. Then I turned it over and the raisins just knocked the film off. So, scratch the clinging part of this wrap. I had really hoped that this wrap would come with a slider/cutter instead of a serrated blade cutter. It seemed that was true from one review a person wrote. Unfortunately, the bladed cutter was the only one that this came with. Fortunately for me, I saved the slider cutter from my older roll of wrap from BJ's. I slid that over the blade, and it works just fine. This roll will be with me for a long time (my previous 2000 foot, 18-inch-wide roll lasted almost four years!). But I won't be buying this brand again. It works enough that there's no reason to return it though.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. If you want a plastic wrap product that clings to itself and containers to keep items fresh, this product is not for you. It does not even cling to itself, let alone a container. The plastic wrap is so worthless that I threw it away and purchased a different plastic wrap from another vendor. I would have used expletives in my review to indicate the intensity of my absolute disappointment with this plastic wrap, but I expect that such a review would be rejected and I want you to know how worthless this product is. I had to give this product a star rating otherwise Amazon would not even process my submission. I would have given this product not stars if I could have. So, to wrap up my review: DO NOT BUT THIS PRODUCT!
