My eyes are getting a little older, and I had been looking for some newer glass for a very accurate 22 cal rifle I assembled. My thoughts are that I will be trying out some NRL 22 events, and my old 3x9-42 SFP with a BDC reticle won't really cut it. This is a FFP with a Christmas tree MOA reticle that has 6 levels of illumination (with an Off between each level), The parallax is adjustable from 10 yards to infinity, which is a good thing for the little 22LR rounds. I had been considering a couple of scopes offered by two companies beginning with the letter "A" and a third beginning with a "V". these ranged for 2.2 to 4 times what CV Life was asking for this scope (and rings, a sunshade, flip up lens caps, a throw lever for the magnification ring and a couple of CR2032 batteries), that savings buys quite a bit of practice ammo. I set it up and put it through every test I could think of and it passed with flying colors, It has a zero stop, a locking windage, very tactile and accurate turret clicks, a nice diopter adjustment, decent coated glass with no crazy color abberations and all that good stuff. Once I had it zeroed on the center target at 100 yards, I went 4 moa to the left, shot 3 rounds, 4 moa up, shot 3 more, went 8 moa to the right, shot 3, went 8 moa down, shot 3, went 4 moa left , 3 more, and finally went 4 moa up... right back to the center bulls eye! Now, there are better scopes out there ( thinking of L, Z, NF , S and B, A, A, and V), but seriously this was sale priced at $179.00, and I had about $168.00 in rewards on my Amazon Prime Card, so it was a no brainer. I will edit this review if it self destructs in short order, which I think is pretty un likely, but this is a good place to start checking out modern high powered optics.

It came broken, & manufacturer has a 1 year warranty & actually talked to someone at amazon after opening item & discovering it was broken 3 months later, amazon told me it would be replaced in 2-3 days but never even got an email & it has been about 2 weeks & nothing ......amazon sucks for for customer service - thanks

Build quality, appearance and clarity of optic is great for the price point. Good entry optic to start in the long distance game and for one to see if they like it and upgrade as needed.

As soon as I unboxed the scope I was impressed. Packaged very well. Taking it out and examining made me smile! Build quality is excellent! Optic quality is very good, on par with my other scopes (V and L) that cost 5-6x as much! Mounted it on my Colt CBX 6.5 Creedmoor. 3 shots to zero. Hitting 6" gongs at 600 yards! One of my other scopes that cost about the same as this one (V Crossfire II) is good, but it's second focal plane, this scope has higher magnification, similar optic quality and is first focal plane! Much better for distance shooting. The christmas tree reticle is awesome! The illumination isn't overpowering in low light. I highly recommend this scope! Equivalent scopes are easily 5-6x more expensive.

The price was right and got the scope zero then the throw level fall out right after, try glue it but it doesn't stay. Only 3 months old. Not even sure where to get support. Don't have patient to deal with Amazon run around on this one. Small lost I guess or maybe but a after market throw level (increase the weight).

I purchased this scope thinking it would be marginal at best but knowing that it could be returned if I was not satisfied. WOW! This scope is so much better than I expected. It is actually quite good. I now have Leupold, Burris and now CVlife scopes. Yes, the Leupold and Burris scopes are top drawer and very, very good but this CVlife scope is also a contender. Don't be fooled by the low price. This scope is a winner.
