Have purchased this multiple times. Like that it is unscented so I can add whatever essential oils I like for each dispenser in kitchen and bath. Rinses easily and does not contain unnecessary chemicals and sulfates.

Imo, Dr. Bronner's is the bar for castile soap. The issue with DB, for me, is price. I've been looking for alternatives and decided I'd try Brittanies.My 2 cents - For the price, it's a go. The smell alone makes it worth the purchase, especially the lemon sage one...WOW. The down side is you have to use a lot to get a good lather, a least more than you'd think with it being so thick. I'd definitely recommend and purchase again.Oh, and I didn't have any issues with leakage. It appears they've solved that problem by sealing the caps.

This was my first time ordering castile soap. I have been slowly changing out my personal hygiene products for more natural options. I love this soap. I bought the 3 pack of different scents to try them out and none of them disappoint! I use it in the shower and to wash my face at night and there is no residue when rinsing off. My face/ body actually feel clean. The scents are not heavy but a good mix. I use the peppermint scent one in the shower and it gives a little pick me up after a hard workout. I alternate between the lavender and lemon & sage scent at night.A few reviews mentioned that it could clog drains because the base is made from oil but I have not experienced that. The shower floor has not become slippery either, after using it for a week.

When I received the product, the outside of the box was damaged, it was in two thick boxes, so they did take extra care of the product during shipping but still, inside the box was wet, bottle was damaged and about a quarter way empty from the spill. Also didn’t have a seal on the product, cap was loose/falling off. May have had something to do with a quarter of the product gone. The crack was at the top/spout. Because I ordered the gallon, and I was out of my normal brand of Castile soap, I used some because it was all I had on me. Worst quality Castile soap I’ve tried yet. It doesn’t lather much, the smell is great, some elements are organic..? So I expected good quality. With every other Castile soap I’ve tried, a little goes a long way. If I pour a generous amount, it typically lathers a ton. Because the spout was broken and no control of how much comes out, when I poured a LOT came out. It hardly lathered and soapiness(I know it’s not a word) was out after a minute or two. This doesn’t typically happen. I’ve tried several store name brands, bronners is my typical go-to, dr jacobs... I’ve never had a complaint. This just does not do the job, and I will be returning. It wasn’t sealed, cracked bottle in transport, not to mention the quality is just so bad. I really wanted to like it... I bought a whole gallon. Hoping to find another bulk, good quality Castile soap. This is not it, unfortunately. But glad I tested it before sending it back, and requesting a new one.
