My sister was cooking bacon,and she used a cake pan to keep the bacon flat. I bought this and we have crisp bacon all the way to the ends. No rolled up fat ends. Easy to use. Heavy iron. Very satisfied.

I have a traditional bacon press (rectangular and bigger) however I needed something for my smaller pan especially when I’m cooking things like pork chops and I want a good sear on my meat. This has a nice weight to it, ease to use and easy to clean, and gets the job done. I use it often and have even used it to smash a burger. Absolutely love this!
