My orthopedic doctor suggested I get a pair of these to put in my shoes after I had my metatarpals rebuilt in my right foot he swears by him said he wears them in all his shoes because he walks on concrete all day long and I got these cuz he said there's others that are $40 and I found these here on Amazon for what 9.99 and they are great they are absolutely great as a matter of fact I suggested him to my son to my mom to my dad and my daughter because my legs and joints feel so much better having these in my shoes I always thought you needed something softer in your shoes but in reality you need something harder but these are great I have them in my shoes and I take them out and move them around with a pair another pair of insoles on top of it that's got a little more of an arch for me and it take out the original insoles and all my shoes and I put these two in and I now go out for walks I go in the garden where I was not able to do a lot before I find this helps completely get it

I got these by recommendation from my kid's orthopedist after he was able to take off his boot. It worked amazingly and significantly reduced his pain. It allowed him to have more freedom in mobility while supporting his foot and allowing it to finish healing.

Gives good support and fits in easily to traditional sneakers. Much cheaper than one supplied by orthopedist at hospital.

They provide support for painful toe joints. I put these under the insoles of my shoes. It makes it so your toes do not bend. They are firm and durable. They do indeed provide pain relief. I wish I discovered this years ago. So simple and effective.

These were recommended to me by my podiatrist to help with foot pain due to bone spurs. They are next to impossible to cut to fit your shoes and were not comfortable in the least even under insoles. They do prevent your foot from bending to help eliminate the pain I experience but also caused my heal to slide on the back of my shoe.

I've been suffering from Plantar Fasciitis. As a soccer player, after each practice or game, I suffer from pain. I searched and found this carbon fiber insert. According to the description it helps with "...Pain Relief: Carbon fiber insoles for men restrict movement of the metatarsal joints and toes, prevent your toe from over-bending, and alleviate foot pain during play." It also states "...Foot Recovery: Carbon rigid insole plantar fasciitis keeps your foot flat when your foot heals. Help your feet maintain medical posture and stability, and help with rapid foot healing and recovery. Provides excellent support and protection after an injury or surgery on the toe, foot, ankle, or leg." However, instead of providing pain relief, it greatly added to my pain. At first, I thought it was because my feet is not used to it so I tried it again. Each time, it caused me so much pain that I could not complete practice. I also tried it on my walking shoes and still pain. I do not recommend this product. It's too stiff and rigid. Do not buy.

First, I'm simply a customer, and not paid for this review. Needed something to help with hallux rigidus. Found that carbon fiber insoles might provide some relief. Just didn't want to break the bank, especially in the event that the insoles did not work. Since receiving these carbon fiber insoles, I've walked a full four rounds of golf, and been able to walk the treadmill at the gym an equal number of times. And the insoles worked...NO PAIN! I wear a mens 10-wide shoe, and these insoles fit like they were made for my shoes. Since using, I've experienced no pain, and the insoles are not uncomfortable to wear. As a note, I do have a pair of Asics running shoes that I've been wearing to the gym, and since the insoles in these shoes cannot be removed, the carbon fiber insoles can't be used with these shoes. But they have worked great with all of my New Balance shoes. I like the fact that this item comes with two carbon fiber insoles and are not as expensive as some of the other insoles that are available. I've got to say that these are a huge recommend!

I have advanced hallux rigidus in left big toe. Unfortunately this did not help. Might be better suited for somebody with mild to moderate conditions. Just caused me more pain. Returned no problem.
