A Nail File that works well for my reactive dog
I'd been looking for a way to trim my dog's claws. He's 110 pounds, reactive, and he hates nail trims - leaves the room when he sees the clippers come out. Regardless of who wields them or how much positive reinforcement is attempted. In my search for options, have tried a Dremel with no luck. He didn't like the sound it made. Tried a metal file. He'd let me get near his feet with it but not use it. Found this and ordered it about a week ago. Super easy to use, feels good on the hand when using. The device is smooth to the touch, easy to handle. It's easy to place the file paper on the device. Have been using it almost daily in short sessions. During today's session he finally allowed me to start working on one of his front feet. And then he fell asleep. Amazing for my guy as he's reactive. His last trim was done by his vet under light sedation and with someone holding him while he struggled to get away. I don't often deem a product life changing - this one certainly has been for both me and my dog.

Dog nail file
Quality is great I will be truly testing this not just a little bit of test like I just did. So far so good but I need to soften her nails they said by soaking them to get the full effect of the product. My dog did not try to pull away when I used it, which is good. Grow

Cut nails first then use it
Easy to use, size handle was perfect for my hand. I dremel my dogs nails however she won’t let me get too close to her quick with it so came across this. It worked for my dog because she can handle nail trims. Highly recommend for dogs who can handle them. Also they work best on front paws only.

If you have a calm pup it would work
This did not work much for my pup. He is very particular about his nails and was not happy about me holding his paws to nail file. If you have a calm pup this would work.

Its small and simple.
My first time using it didn't go as well as I hoped, but after that, it work everything out. Easy to handle It doesn't hurt or cause discomfort to my dog in a way where he needs to constantly pull away... You just need the right angle to get it done correctly. I have a shiba inu, so he's around a medium sized dog.I'm not sure how well this would work for a larger or bigger breed.

Hard to use
This is useful but is very hard to use. We have a small dog and we would have to scrape his nails for 20 minutes to make a difference.

Works great!
Works great to shorten nails and make them less sharp. My puttie is terrified of everything and he lets me do this on him once a week. We are no longer getting cut up by his nails.
