They are beautiful and light weight. Hold about 8oz of liquid. I would suggest hand washing as they might chip if put in a dishwasher. They are fragile I would not suggest giving them to children. But would be great for like a lady’s lunch or tea.

I purchased this set for a present tor one of my close friends. It is very pretty and looks gorgeous. When they arrived first one of the cups had a small defect. The cups and saucers come in a beautiful box, making for an audible gasp in of itself once any wrapping paper has been torn open. The items are delightfully petite and lightweight. Perfect for tea served from a pot, with the joy of the ceremony feeding into the brew, perhaps a few sides of cakes and biscuits. I've had my debut try with green tea, a few blueberries and nuts on a sideplate, and fancy vanilla matcha with dark chocolate for tomorrow. The size and weight make for a perfect gift for those with physical challenges too.
