I have a "generic" 2x2 cage with 1" holes and this product works perfectly. It seems to hold an Olympic bar and weighs weighing 225lbs perfectly fine without any kind of flex or movement. The pads at the bottom of the cups provide some dampening and reduce scratching between the bar and hook. Overall, these are a very good investment for someone looking to upgrade their existing rack without costing a fortune.

These J Hooks are a great new addition to my power rack. I have two barbells, so the extra hooks allow me to have both of them on the rack. They are a different design than the hooks that came with the rack. These are a bit shallower, possibly due to the bit of foam, which might be nice for sound suppression, but it feels like you need to take more care to make sure the bar stays put when you re-rack, which is not a problem with the original hooks. Overall, they are a simple, functional addition to my gym and I’m quite pleased.

I finally bought a metal basic power rack at age 54 . I had a sweet walk in Wood Rack. These were reviewed and i thought why not, THEY ARE GREAT . SOLID AS CAN be . SWEET WELDS . claims 800 lbs . just a bit small but VERY USABLE . well worth ther money

These are just what I needed for my Fitness Reality power cage/squat rack. They fit well, are easy to move up and down the cage and easily hold a couple hundred pounds for extended periods. I also got them for about $24/pair around the time of this review. For those reviewers that said these are too short and don't stick out far enough, that is exactly why I got them. Other hooks stick out too far and make it hard to clear when bench pressing once the bar is off the hooks.

Hello, I don't if this is the best way to ask this question but I'm wondering if it's possible for me to exchange this order. These J hooks, unfortunately, don't fit my rack. The 1" peg is too big; the hole on my rack is 1/2". Do you do exchanges?

They did NOT FIT. IT SAYS they are 3 inches wide but the brace is too short so it doesn’t fit on cage. Very poorly measured and made causing item not to work

These J-Hooks fit my AmStaff DF-1161A power/squat rack perfectly (2 x 2 inches, 1-inch holes). I bought these specifically for the short front lip because my original AmStaff J-Hooks are way too long and uneven from one another. I also love that it has rubberized pads to prevent wear on my bar knurlings and reduce noise while racking. It's a 5-star rating from me!

This was exactly what I ordered but didn’t fit my equipment. I contacted Amazon and the supplier happily refunded my money even though it was my fault I ordered the wrong size. Very good customer service. However if you have 2 inch equipment the hooks are great.
