I got this for my dad. It works well but the tip had cuts and dents. The seller was great and sent a new one! My father loves the tool. I would definitely recommend.

Didn't even create a spark for a weld. Returned immediately.

The switch is bad. It will run then shut of you have to play with the switch then it shuts off again and play with the switch. This is the second time I used it a five minute job took a half hour because it kept shutting of. No warranty UPDATE customer service was great they replied with an email and offered me a new unit and sent it. The switch on the new unit seems to be working I have not used it yet but I want to say if you have issues reach out and they will fix the problem.

If you are looking for something easy to handle to do small jobs, this is a good option. You have to use the smaller rods 3/32", works best for us. This is not a tool for everyday use on large jobs, but handy and easy to use to tack weld or weld up cracks or small pieces of metal together.
