For the price, this is one of the best machines you can buy
I had been eyeballing this piece of equipment for a long time. This has been a fantastic addition to my home garage gym. I no longer am concerned about dropping weights and hurting my floor. I use the bench for other exercises as well. The arms are a little squeaky when you’re using them, but I’ve never had any concern that the machine is going to fail. I’m fairly tall at 6 foot six and I have no issue using this equipment. I have used both the flat and incline settings and they have worked great. I love how the bench folds up and allows for my space to be used effectively. I don’t see the use for the shoulder press Option because I’m so tall. The construction seems robust. And it was easy to put together. For the price you cannot beat this.

Lives up to the hype!
Pros: super easy to put together by yourself, though expect about 2 hours of time. Have an adjustable wrench and a socket handy. Sturdy, well made. the range of motion is exactly what i want and is a really unique take on a bench press, far better than the seated ones or using a smith machine. I'm in my 40's and still have the brain of a 25 year old lifter and I like that its a really safe way to lift heavier when i'm solo 285lbs felt stable! I have not tried decline, but really never liked decline benching so I don't think i'll mess with that. It's also very functional for shrugs, which IMO should be called out on the listing! The angle is perfect for them. Lastly it really takes up very little space. By flipping the bench upward it further saves space when not in use. Very small footprint. I'm beyond happy that something like this was available for the price range, and if I elect to add any other piece of equipment, I will be checking this company out.

Feels pretty solid
The bench itself is very easy to assemble, and feels pretty solid. The bench is plenty long enough for most heights. I have a shoulder injury I am recovering from and this is much easier on my shoulder then a barbell bench press. As you lift upwards the arms converge and give you a great natural feeling almost like using dumbbells for bench press. The bench folds up when you are not using it if you are tight on space. Overall its a great piece of equipment for a home gym, and the supports have plenty of adjustments for a customized feel.

Great machine with a great cost!
Delivered sooner than originally stated. Instructions and installation was simple. Anyone can put this together with ease. It is a solid unit so far. Arms are a bit wiggly at first but then settle once lifted. Wish the pad/bench was longer. My head slightly hangs off to properly have the arms positioned. Doing shoulder presses is a bit different; the motion to me feels like I’m pushing out and up on an angle. You don’t push straight up. I don’t like it. Was shipped a different brand name than what was listed on Amazon (only reason why I gave 4-star. There was no communication nor any info written in the description of this machine, that it was not solely their’s and that you could get the partners machine and not theirs). It was not GMWD, but turns out to be their co-partner on this machine, ORMAISE. That was interesting. Customer service response is real quick. All-in-all, it’s a great machine for the cost. Definitely can feel a pump. It’s only been about a month, but it’s holding like it should. Worth a purchase if you are reading this comment and researching.

Good value: see update on squeak
I've been using this for about a month now, and I am quite happy with it. There was one issue with assembly, as the forked bracket on the retractable bench stand (at the foot of the bench) was bent. I had to use a large wrench to bend it straight before it could be attached to the bench. Aside from that, assembly was easy. Having all the hardware in a blister pack with numbered labels is genius - making it almost impossible for parts to be lost or missing. Having all weight disks the same diameter is a bit strange to me, but I am used to it now. And it helps a lot to be able to fold the bench up vertically when not in use, to save space. Update 1/6/2026: Had an annoying squeak that took me a long time to locate. The small grey post that the two cylindrical bearings fit onto is somehow attached to the outer tube in such a way that part of it rubs and it make a very annoying squeak noise. I had to spray a lot of silicone lube into the holes around the grey post, but it finally stopped the noise.

Great for home use, would buy again.
This is perfect for a home gym setup! It is really well made, easy to put together, and light enough to move around when needed. The weight collars are plastic though, and held onto the spindle via set screw, so not sure how durable that part is, but will be easily replaced if needed. You can leave them off and run the smaller diameter plates if you have those, so that's nice. I don't like the "incline" function at all, because it basically puts you so low to the ground, but it's doable. I got this on a huge Black Friday sale for $185, and super happy about that!

Shoulder rehab for old guys.
Wonderful machine, completely rehabbed my shoulders. I'm 64 and had actually stopped benching years ago because my shoulders sort of hurt but weren't injured. I got this and gradually set the stands lower and lower, using embarrassingly light weights at first, lifting until I ran out of steam since there is no bar to get trapped under. The "pain" vanished and I am getting full strength through a larger range of motion than ever before, including when I was a teenager. Plus, you start the lift from down low, so there is no bounce to make you think you're stronger than you really are. I also stand over the bench and do shrugs and calf raising. The bench tilts up when not in use, which opens up options for placing the machine. I put a little cleat on the wall in back because the weights are very close to the balance point of the machine and I don't put weights on the back posts. Very happy.

Great piece of gear
Excellent piece of workout equipment for the money. Well built, thick steel and easy to assemble

Very easy to put together. The machine feels amazing. One thing I do wish for is to have a little more convergence at the top. But either way, it feels extremely safe to go to absolute failure with this. One big tip is at the starting position, to save your shoulders and give you a little spot, is to use the foot foam rollers included as a pad under the arms. Position it in a way that once you lift off, the pads will fall off so your reps moving forward will have the full stretch ROM without compromising lift off disadvantagious stretched position. Watch budgethomegyms review for actual tip.

Putting it together took a good 45-1hr with a drill(quicker) it looks great and is very sturdy, built well and a good size a bit of a tight fit for a bigger guy but still good. The only thing I have issue with is a couple of spots have plastic coverings, had to worn the guys not to be rough putting weights off and on, but overall this machine moves very smooth and easy to transition from one move to another. Good value for your money, great overall performance from this machine.

This machine is very simple and feels sturdy and robust. No squeaking, cracking or scratching noises. The two arms are sturdy and if you tighten the screws properly, you won't get any "loose" or sideways moving of the arms (as other reviews pointed out). I do suggest using power tools to assemble this product. The machine when folded takes very little space, once again not to sure why people complain about that.... as long as you don't expect a 6000$ value out of it, this machine will satisfy you 100% for the price. Finally, i didn't find any noticeable difference between this machine and the chest press that you would find in a commercial gym. Works as good as any "hammer strength" machine for less money.
