They came packed well with the shell disks wrapped together in plastic. None were broken, chipped or cracked. No strings were tangled. The color is true; green and blue. They’ve worked every night since I’ve hung them up which was the day they came. The box never even made it inside the house. I can’t say how long they stay lit, but they’re still brightly lit when I go to bed. The star fish are thick clear plastic and the round disks are made from shells. They make a pleasing light sound in the wind. So far they have held up beautifully in some pretty high wind gusts (25-35 mph) where they were really swinging. They have 2 light settings; always on or slow flash. I’m planning on buying the same set for my sister and second (different) set for me. They are so pretty during the day and just striking at night.

These are beautiful and light up perfectly at nighttime. The sound is mild. They are good quality and the price is right. I’ve had them hanging out front since I got them and they haven’t broken or stopped lighting up yet even with rain and wind. Buy them!

The sound this chime makes is quiet, the real star quality comes out after dark. They are a beautiful addition to my backyard and stay light for some time. On a cloudy day for maybe 2-3 hrs, on a sunny day they're lit well after midnight.
