Nice Quality
Very nice quality cap gun, very solid. After a year I decided to leave a review as my 7 year old son has used it frequently. It has held up good, the only thing that is starting to fail is the barrel lock mechanism when changing caps. It doesn't quite lock in place anymore, but other than that it held up good where other cap guns have broke. One downside is the 12 shot caps are hard to find and expensive.

Gun and Holster
This is a very nice gun and holster, but if you are buying it for an adult, it will be too small.

Good metal cap gun
My grandson likes The Lone Ranger and we had previously bought him this gun, however the Ranger has two guns so a second one was needed. The cap gun is made of metal and appears very durable. Very good gun at a good price and would make a great gift.

Caps are not included!
I have two reasons for not giving this cap gun a 5-star review. First, it did not come with even one roll of caps. And second, the holster is plastic. Additionally, the belt is made cheaply, also of plastic. It works better to put it on a real belt. Fortunately, I did buy extra caps from another Amazon source, thinking there would not be many in the package, LOL! (FYI, the new caps are half as loud as "old" caps from 25 years ago.) That being said, the gun is great, just what I was looking for my grandson. He loved it! The handle is sized well for a 3-5-year-old hand. Seems solid enough so far. There is a little bobbin supplied to load the cap roll. I would recommend this toy cap gun!

Takes you back to your childhood
Toys are crap nowadays but this one is just like the one I had as a kid. I got this for my kiddo and finally something built with quality. It's a great remake and worth the price tag. My son has run thousands of caps through it at this time. Buy without hesitation, as adverstised.

It's cheap but good for little boys
It's a toy gun. Not much else to say.

A big hit with our 8-year-old grandson
Our grandson’s older brother bought his own toy gun similar to this one, and now they are having fun acting out westerns. They take turns being the sheriff or the desperado. The gun looks realistic and works really well with the rolls of caps. Send them outside to play with them to avoid the noise and the smoke from the caps.

Say when!
So I’m not sure when my kid became a cowboy fan but it seemed to happen overnight. I got him this classic and it was a little more expensive than some other options but the quality completely makes up for it. This is the classic style metal cowboy gun from the 80’s and 90’s. It’s smaller in size than a real revolver, made for kids and includes the orange safety tip. This is small for an adults hand. The holster is actually better quality than I expect extra expected. This has got more play than I anticipated and he really likes it. It’s metal and has a little weight so I’d recommend this for a slightly older child who understands that you can’t throw it indoors or drop it on your foot. So 7+ for my recommendation.
