Big bold, well produced, coffee table edition. It takes the reader on the Matt Bigg's personal choice of classic gardens( therefore; be prepared for some strange inclusions!) through the medium of large firmat arty illustrations with alternating pages of accompanying text. It's a worthy edition for all interested in the history of gardens and gardening.

Book is lovely although the front and back covers are warped a bit so it doesn't lie flat

Such a beautiful book for your own library or as a gift. So many pages filled with a huge arrangement of coloured photos and illustrations of gardens, plants, fabrics, posters and artwork, ceramics and jewellery. Anything to cover plants and gardens. I love it. So happy with this purchase.
