Surprisingly well-made and functional. The lighter is also stylish and an easy match with any cigarette case.

I have bought a total of 3 of these lighters so far. They are, out of 5 different varieties of electric lighters, the best. All 3 of these RSBYE have lasted longer than the other types, are almost unbreakable, have powerful thick arc nodes that don't need frequent cleaning (the dual/4 node types are tiny and get clogged with ash and debris rendering it useless because of a bad connection, which really sucks when you're stuck on a work shift), and it charges fairly quickly. Obviously, this isn't the type of rechargeable lighter you use for lighting jar candles. It is a micro USB, which of course I prefer USB-C, but that is not a deal breaker. Anytime I lose a lighter, dropped my first RSBYE in a lake while kayaking, I will replace it with another of the same.

I bought this for my mom, who absolutely LOVED this lighter. Sadly, 11 days after the return window has closed, it does not charge anymore, and will not work. This lighter was the perfect size, worked great, and was very pretty. For the cost I would expect it to last a little longer than it did, and my mom is so disappointed her pretty little lighter doesn’t work.

Finally got this yesterday and WOW is it heavy. It has a nice flame and works well outside on my patio with fans blowing. Hope it lasts.

Can light a ciggarette pretty good. But far as bowls and stuff, I've now tried every arc design lighter, and find the 4 prong slanted arc lighters to be the best for smoking bowls. Like a cool like electric storm on your bowl top. You can ALMOST smoke a bowl with these arc ones. Kinda. Almost. Deff not my first pick tho so sticking to the 4 prong angled arc. Will be returning, but if all you smoke is cigs or joints or w.e this should work fine. One issue I'm finding with ALL these electric lighters so far is, battery life. I don't think any of them have lasted me more then 1/4 of the day. But I do smoke a lot of bowls so maybe that's why? Deff still feels like they should last longer tho.. at least half the day? But yeah. Looks nice to and have cool designs. Price a litle steep on these tho and not sure why as I can see no difference from the cheaper look a likes?

Works great, being an arc it has lit everything I've tried, including working with a pipe. Quality construction, battery lasts a little over a day with heavy use, I'm a smoker, so it gets used constantly. It is a little heavier than I prefer, but no heavier than a zippo, and saves a lot of money over disposables or buying fluid.

I gave this 2 stars because I love the lighter itself but the case has a little jewel in the lid and within a month one side fell out and is lost! It would be a great lighter if the case lasted more than a month.

Not speaking to the quality of the product. It works by creating an arc which heats the air above such that inhaling a cigarette in the hot air above the arc will light the cigarette. I have not tried this yet. The lighter comes with a multi-lingual user manual whose English is machine generated or translated by someone who overstated their English abilities on their resumé. It makes clear that you’ll get no help in repairing the lighter unless you produce the original warranty, but no such physical warranty is provided. So, good luck getting it repaired. Otherwise, it is a handsome item with a nice weightiness. I’ll come back when I’ve used it for a while. //. Some time later. This works well for its purpose: to light a cigarette, cigar, joint. You really can’t use it as you can many flame lighters: to set kindling aflame, or for illumination, or lighting a fuse. Maybe you could use it to light a gas burner, but you might have to jump away quickly from the ignition. Even for a cigarette, there is definitely a learning curve. I was frustrated at first, but I’ve come to find it effective and easy.
