These pens have amazing colours not found anywhere else , I should know I’ve collected hundreds

📝 First Impressions As a colouring book author, I was excited to try these Paper Mate metallic glitter pens, expecting smooth, vibrant ink from a trusted brand. The packaging was poor — as soon as I opened it, the pens fell out, and there was no case or pouch to keep them in. ⚙️ Ease of Use From the first use, the pens were dry and scratchy, as if they’d already been sitting in a cupboard for a year. They didn’t glide on the page at all and instead ripped into the paper, which ruined my colouring work. ✨ Performance & Results There was no real glitter effect, and the ink felt flat and lifeless. Instead of adding a metallic shine, every stroke was patchy, uneven, and irritating to use. 🙌 Comfort & Experience Colouring with them was frustrating and uncomfortable. The scratchiness meant I couldn’t enjoy the process and had to stop using them altogether. 💷 Value vs Others For the price and brand name, I expected much better. Cheaper pens I’ve bought elsewhere performed far better and actually delivered on what they promised. ✅ Final Verdict A total letdown. Scratchy, dry, and with no visible glitter effect, plus poor packaging. I returned them for a refund and would not recommend them.

The colours are lovely but there are 2 grays that are identical. The purple and dark green had very little sparkle. The black is very dark and sparkly. Not really what I expect from Paper Mate.

Great pens, price wasn't too bad either.

Some of the pens dried out within a week, with very little use. Unfortunately I had thrown the packaging out so can't return them. Very expensive for something that does not work. Disappointed in papermate.

These were dry, some didn't work and some ran out after writing one page of notes. Massively disappointed. Always use papermate flair but these are a let down. Have tried to contact papermate website and won't let me submit the complaint. Not impressed at all!

An 11 year old loved these!

On the first use I was SO impressed with the amount of glitter and pigmentation from these pens!!! Second use and there’s not a single speck of glitter in sight?! Extremely disappointed and frustrated!!! Also disappointed with the colour range; there’s only actually about 4 different colours and then you get numerous variations of the same colour. There isn’t even a blue or a pink, which I was very shocked and annoyed about. The pens are very fine tip, but that hasn’t been an issue for me. Overall poor value for money, especially given they’ve stopped working properly after just a single use. Don’t waste your money on these!!!!
