I bought this hose reel as a Christmas present for my wife who is an avid gardener. She has been using it for more than three months now and could not be happier. We mounted it on a 4" x 4" post set into concrete and the mounting is as solid as a rock. Because the hose when filled with water is very heavy, and the swivel is cantilevered from the post, I would not recommend a flimsier mounting method when you need to install away from a structural wall like us. The reel actually swivels more than 180° when mounted on a post, which is great. This gives us the flexibility to water a vast swath of area and still allow the hose to retract directly with no need to walk around to the front. The retraction is smooth and powerful which is necessary with a water-filled hose. When you pull the hose out it stops locks whenever you want. There are multiple quick disconnects that allow you to easily drain the hose in freezing weather. And lastly, the multi-function nozzle has any spray pattern you could need. This is a solidly built high quality hose reel that works perfectly. It's expensive but it's worth it. We like the Hoselink so much that we just today purchased another unit. Highly recommended.

my favoirte hose reel of them all- after several years! I have been using and recommending to friends and garden clients for years because of the consistent quality and ease of use. the recoil is solid and much gentler than other brands out there- and with kids and pets around ... that's an important feature, at least in my book. Easy to setup and install, we only needed to purchase a masonry bit to pre-drill into the foundation where we chose to anchor that one... all the plastic anchors and lag screws are included with a nice template. we mounted at waste height to avoid hitting lower plants and still access the easy swivel and ideal tension to pull the hose from the spigot wall. packaging is easy to open and the reel box couldn't be any easier/ comfortable to pickup with intuitive hand slots for mounting and dismounting. 10 mins MAX... time used to play with preferred height of mounting on wall once setup / installed their connectors are a great bonus because you can attach them independently to the leader hose and then to the hoselink hose, so not to wrestle twisted lines! click in and go! the water pressure is consistent in the 82' we use and the different / standard nozzle filters are ideal- the nozzle also has the easy disconnect feature. there are 2 different on off spots too, easy and comfortable designs there, too! we always store our unit in the basement on a chair to keep from freezing.

Constantly taking out the garden hose and storing it seems such a waste of time now that I have a retractable garden hose from Hoselink. Everything needed to mount on my garage was included. It took me 10 minutes to install the mount. I have given this a thorough workout. Pulled it all the way out, and watered new grass, and the retract feature is tough. Pulled the hose filled with water back into place effortlessly. No more draining the hose, coiling it up, or fussing with it. The included hose trigger nozzle has a really nice quick disconnect feature. Swapping out to a different sprayer is simple and easy, you don't have to turn the water off at the source, as there is a shut off lever right at the hose end, very nice! Very sturdy construction of heavy duty materials. The mounting of the hose real on the wall is the only time you will have to interact with the total weight of the unit. I would highly recommend this retractable hose, as it lives up to all the claims. Save yourself some time and effort when you need a garden hose, it's ready to use when you need it.

The 82’ version is excellent quality, no leaks. We use it at our marina. The length is plenty for several (lifted) boats. The swivel handle and water shut off on the handle are excellent features. NO LEAKS (deserves to be stated again) the retractor reel is very responsive and the mechanism works well. You do need to pull out at least 10’ of hose for it to engage properly.

This hose is one of the best purchases I have ever made. Yes, it is expensive but I was tired of replacing my hose every year. It is very high quality and retracts easily, and it comes off the holder for winter storage.

I bought 2 (50 and 82) of these classy higher-end hoeses, you know like the type politicians and athletes favor. One for the front and one for the back and maybe use em at the same time if I have enough energy for a real good wetting. Anyway’s, they’re pretty good but since it’s only been 3 months time will tell. The 82 though seems to not retract as strongly when it was new. Installation: The brackets don't really fit a 2x4 and I found it better to just shift it over and at least get 2 screw's in solid then build out the side with a block.

My Sister-In-Law got two of these to help her do her yard work. Last time we visited her she showed them to me. She loved them so much when I got home I ordered them. She said the shorter hosed one was too short and the longer to long and didn’t work as well. The 82 ft. Hose was just right. For our yard I can reach both front and back and the retrieval mechanics make it a walk in the park. My wife uses it all the time now instead of filling up a watering can.

I purchased the 82’ hoselink. It is fantastic and very “clean” looking. It was nice to get rid of our large tangled hose on the ground. I used a 1”, 5 foot galvanized pipe to secure the hoselink reel as I didn’t want to drill into the stone on my house. The installation literally took 5 minutes to use a post hole pounder and put the pipe into the ground. We have had no issues with the product. I just ordered my second hoselink reel. I highly recommend it.
