The Buddha Board is fun and is holding up really well. Following the directions of use - the type of brush and not touching it with fingers, etc are important. At first I was pressing harder than needed out of habit with regular brush and paper. Note: If you feel you are not getting a dark line as you 'draw' with the brush provided, move slower. I'm enjoying it practicing brush stroke as well as just for fun. Dries pretty quickly - within less than 3-5 minutes from first picture to second picture.

A great gift for a budding artist -- young or old! I own one and purchased as a gift for my granddaughter.

I just have to say, hats off to the people who designed this product. I have a few other magic cloth writing devices, but this one is very clever! It’s the size of an iPad 11 and I find it curiously amusing that there’s no electronics in it just you the surface the water and the brush. I love this idea not only is this thing good for practicing Chinese calligraphy but to do simple freeform gesture drawings on this is lots of fun. Your images appear and then slowly disappear. The build quality of this product is very good. The water pencil is simple and effective. I have also tried using a traditional calligraphy brush on it with water. That works great for a broader strokes. I highly recommend this product to anyone as a great way to exercise your drawing muscle muscles and chill out without a glaring screen, staring back at you.

I bought it for my MIL since she's artistic and I love the one my aunt and uncle bought me. It made her very happy which was needed when going in and out of the hospital. Absolutely a win of a gift. It only needs water to paint and it's really nice to help meditate by painting with what strokes haven't evaporated. I only have the smaller version, but mine helped me work through a lot of emotions during some of my worst times.

These are absolutely wonderful. Our two grandchildren love to draw and they loved these.

This is so therapeutic

Pen has lack of flow. Seems need to shake it after every stroke, and no instructions are provided for this. Can fill pen with water, but takes a while to get into brush tip. Does not have efficient flow.

Love it! I got it for a virtual painting night activity while WFH and this board is so much fun, I cab schetch, doodle or create an abstract painting without wasting paint and materials, just water and that's all I need to create simple drawings that relaxes my mind while I am painting them. Good zen activity.
