Good quality for cosmetic
Got this to mix in with lotion and make a shimmery look, I ended up not liking the tone (too much red pigment) but that’s my problem for picking the wrong choice- powder is very pigmented and reflects light nicely, very fine, packaged well not messy at all

Gorgeous highly pigmented color!
This pink is out of this world! It’s so very bright! It’s got an ethereal sheen to it as well. I can make soaps and bath bombs in my sleep so I’m very familiar with micas. I noticed this fairly new family business and just had to try them. Their micas are potent! The colors are very pigmented, so if you’re dumping a bunch of mica in to color your bath bombs, don’t. Use sparingly, a little goes a long way and use poly 80 of you’re using to color your bombs with these. I don’t recommend doing that, instead I recommend painting your bombs. I used this pink to decorate a bath bomb and it was gorgeous. It was even more spectacular in in soap. Like I said, a little goes a long way. The jars are packed full to the brim. I thought it was such an tiny amount when I ordered, but the small jar will last a long time if used correctly. I can’t wait to try all the colors! Such a wonderful company to work with. Very fast shipping. This is a plus for me because when I’m out of something, I need it fast! Where I have gotten my mica in the past, it takes forever to ship, let alone get to my shop. Yay for Stardust Micas!

Amazing product, color, and company
This is a fantastic product. The color is a true sterling silver, not just a gray with shiny spots. The pigment blends well with resin, doesn't clump when exposed to slight humidity, and a little goes a long way. The pigment it well packaged in a plastic screw-topped jar. The jar is clearly labeled and packaged well. I have ordered just about every color from this company, and have not been dissatisfied with any of the product I have received. They all produce an amazing rainbow of colors, and some are even blacklight reflective. I have had the pleasure of interacting with the folks behind stardust micas. They are caring, fun loving folks that really do want to do right for the customer. They have social media accounts where they share customer photos and helpful tips. They have a peer support/advice facebook group where they and others will offer you tips and tricks on how to succeed with your projects and let you show them. But the heart of the company are the owners. The dedication and testing they do with their products are above and beyond. The clear labeling of what the products can and cannot be used for. The amount of dedication and even friendship they provide their customers before, during, and after purchase. Prime example - My father was hospitalized and died this last summer. I posted to my business social media accounts there would be a delay in service and why. Stardust micas was the only vendor I work with that offered support during the hospitalization, and condolences after his passing. This may not seem like much, but that level of caring shows in everything they do, and is one of the multitudes of reasons I choose to do business with them. In closing: Great product, great results, great company. Order this!

Once opened. . .
I mixed this with 5 minute epoxy to effect a kintsugi type restoration of a beloved mug that my wife had purchased and it did not survive its first day in her possession being knocked off its shelf by our helper. Sadness ensued. The restoration was beautiful, Happiness reigned over the land, the helper's head was spared. The only problem was the near impossibility of the initial opening of the vial. It was vile. It is a screw on lid but in the effort to prevent spillage in transport it was screwed on so tightly as to make unscrewing an impossibility. I had to resort to major hand toolage but I persisted and ultimately gained access to the golden dust within!

Great price and very vibrant colors!
Great price and color is super bright! I purchased this for my face painting business to paint children’s faces and I love how bright the colors are. The jar is also big and the mica feels good on the skin.

Very beautiful subtle sheen.
I got this to dust onto wax seals on our wedding invitation envelopes. The invitations themselves have a shiny edge and I wanted that to be repeated on the outside of the envelope. The wax I purchased stated that it was ‘white pearl,’ and I realized after receiving it that this does NOT mean ‘pearl white,’ so the wax had no sheen to it at all. I used a few different methods, finally just settling on dusting this on after the seal was pressed with a small makeup brush and letting it set. The effect was spectacular, and even though I am probably the only person who truly appreciated it, I’m glad I spent the extra time doing it. I barely used any of the product, and as I’m an avid DIY fan, I will probably use this in many other projects! It’s very pretty and easy to work with.
