I was a bit sceptical about how good these would be, not expecting much given the price. Glad to say they’re excellent, the fit is good and unlike a lot of earmuffs they don’t clamp your head uncomfortably. I’ve a large head so this matters a lot to me. They cut the noise of a shotgun perfectly & normal speech is heard well. All in all for the money, you can’t go wrong.

Amazing product! After shelling out close to £500 on different sets of Ear defenders and having them stolen or break down on me, I thought I would buy something a little cheaper and risk it; IT WAS WORTH IT. My last set of Ear defenders were the 3M Peltor Sportacs which are great Electric Ear muffs but the quality does not reflect the price tag, after taking it out on a lightly rainy range, the left ear cups already started cutting out. So having them less than a week prompted me to buy these cheap Awesafe Ear defenders. They are a little more streamlined than the Peltor Sportacs and lighter meaning you feel them less on your head (good if your constantly moving around). Comparing them to my old set of Howard Leight Impact Sports (the holy grail of budget protection) I can safely say save your £10 and buy the Awesafes. In terms of build Quality they are almost identical since they have a similar design. Comparing the sound quality they are equally on par, although my sportacs had slightly better audio clarity. Pros: -Reliable, Using them for a few days on a range in the crummy british weather and they have yet to show any sign of damage -Good build quality, I tend to toss things about and these are not exception, already lasted a few missed throws into my bag -Okay sound quality, these amplify sounds with good clarity at normal volume -Good value for money, for the price nothing even comes close! -Easy to operate with gloves, Only one dial, turn it all the way to hear a click and its off Cons: -Slight Hissing, I turned these almost all the way up to hear the range instructor clearly and I did notice very minimal hiss although this did not bother me as even my 3M sportacs also had the same problem -Headband not very Comfortable, There is no padding so that is to be expected however if you tend to wear a hat or have thick hair this isn't a problem. If it does bother you there are plenty of Velcro padding available for the headband online Overall I am extremely happy with my purchase and I have no buyers remorse (can't say the same for my friend who just shelled out the £100 on another set :D) and when someone does eventually nick it, I won't have a dent in my bank account when I have to purchase another one!

I use these for shooting. Specifically, I have used them for shooting .22, .38, .375 Magnum (which is PARTICULARLY loud for a 'handgun' cartridge), .308 and .45 Black Powder guns both inside and outside. Considering the alternatives from really established brands like Peltor cost £135 upwards compared to £35, these are BRILLIANT. Great value for money, with all the protection that you need with only a few downsides compared to the others. I supervise and teach new members to my shooting club on disciplines until they are deemed proficient enough to 'sign off' on each; for beginners we run a regular night on Mondays indoors, where the noise can seem much worse than outdoors especially when maintained over several hours at calibres from .22/.38/.357. These are adequate at blocking out high SPLs whilst still allowing shooters/range personnel to be able to give/hear instructions clearly. I would say that I personally always use a set of custom moulded ear protectors underneath these when indoors surrounded by loud cartridges like .38, .357 and .44, but that's just personal preference and my choice to leave nothing up to chance when it comes to my hearing health: I'd strongly recommend everyone else to approach these things as cautiously as I do.

These are great for the money. Work very well.

Having had an issue with my purchase the seller has been very impressive with how they have dealt with me. A replacement set was sent out with an apology. The new set are great and meet all my expectations. I would recommend buying from Awesafe.

Excellent product considering the price. I bought these because I lent my previous pair to my daughter and she never returned them. These were half the price and twice as good as the ones I lent so I am quids in. Thank you!

These Ear Defenders are a really useful piece of kit, used in the Switch Off position they will sound proof most loud noises, with the Switch On they will detect and magnify Input sounds more than adequate enabling one to hear even a faintest of noises, fully adjustable and fold down for easy pocketing. Well worth the money.
