After pouring the melted soap base into the mold, spray a light mist of rubbing alcohol on the surface. This will help reduce bubbles and give the soap a smoother finish.

Q: What kind and how much fragrance or essential oil should I use?

We recommend using water-soluble fragrances or essential oils, as oil-based types can reduce foaming. Add about 1–3% of the total soap weight — too much may affect the hardness or lather quality.

This is normal for glycerin soap bases — they naturally attract moisture from the air. Simply wrap the finished soap tightly in plastic wrap after unmolding to prevent sweating.

Omg. I loved everything about this , there was no need to add any fragrance. They shea butter smell is delightful and lathers perfect, leaves the skin feeling like satin. Need to a little bigger for the price.

Best soap base I’ve tried!

The honey soap base is honestly amazing. All in its own it smells good, melts good, and dries quickly. I have used soap bases by other brands and I feel like those lately are smelling a little off so I tried this brand and I’m never going back !

Very easy to use

This 2 lb. bar was easy to cut and weigh out how much I needed when making my soap. It has a very light scent to it which smells amazing! It melts and sets very well! Will definately be ordering more when needed! Highly recommend!
