Purchased March 2024 so been using kettle for over 18months. It’s been the best kettle I’ve owned. No plastic insides, reliable and still looks like new with light maintenance.

How lovely this looks in my kitchen! The handle for my older arthritic hands is really quite comfortable. I hope the tight fitting lid will loosen in time. The weight is medium an very manageable. I can just about fill it through the spout with my swivelling mixer tap - there is a bit of a knack to it. I miss seeing how much water is in the kettle but it's quite silent as it boils. It's the first untainted hot drink i've had in 20 years...no plastic in contact with the water. There is a removable filter in the spout and i have enquired if spares are available as filters rarely live as long as the kettles. Well done Ascot and hope you can sell me a spare filter?. Adding that Ascot dont sell spare filters but the filter is metal and hopefully quite durable if kept clear of limescale.

Very strange smell coming from the kettle, even after numerous cleans and boils. I'm concerned it could be related to the paint

We had this kettle in green and loved it. (1) it looks classy - the colour is what you would call pistachio green. (2) there is no plastic contact with your water (even with the plastic alternative ring - see below) (3) it lasted a long time (10+ years) (4) it even comes with an alternative plastic ring to replace the metal ring, which does get burning hot right after a boil. It still looks good when the plastic ring but a lot more convenient e.g. I can boil multiple kettles in a row (5) it boils quietly

Lovely kettle, no plastic but it broke after 2 years . For £60 it should have lasted longer. The Amazon page says they will replace it. But there's nowhere to do this

Feels solid when handling....very quite....Value for money...

Nice kettle love the look and feel. Although it hasn't got a gage window to see how full it has got the metal marker inside that you can just fill up to. Easy to remove lid and fill without knocking on the normal handle above! There is two knob details supplied so you can have the hard plastic one that matches the colour of your kettle or the metal one as in the photo that has a strip of colour running round the inside. Boils fast enough and the handle has a chunky grip very comfortable. I like this kettle and shape!

Absolutely love this kettle, The no external steam system is great, it’s the most well designed kettle I’ve ever had. Plus Im enjoying the look of it.
