Caron Paris Yuzu Man Eau de Toilette Spray, 4.2 Fl Oz

Great summer fragrance. The yuzu note in the opening is great. This fades to a slightly sweet woody scent with a touch of musk. Works best in higher heat environments. Nice fragrance for the price.

At first spray immediately loved the crisp opening and then the dry down too. I have tried 4 Caron products, each very different, each spanning the decades, and all classics. This seems to fit morning and midday wear on a hot day without too much of a statement and perhaps a weak and close skin scent. Perhaps the only issue is poor sillage and poor projection. Perfect in a profession where scents are not allowed or discouraged. Also good in summer in tropics in high humidity. In that regard, it's the opposite end of the spectrum to Caron's Yatagan. It's a lemon vetiver fig smell that's clean and crisp, not aldehydelic, not with a candy-like midnote such as Caron's pour homme, and less sharp and less complex than Guerlain Imperial which seems similar to on my wearing but at 2x the price. Although Yuzu has a slight vetiver accord, it's gentle, and far less spiced and less woodsy than a true vetiver such as Guerlain's latest reformulation of Vetiver and many others with a more smoke or forest floor accord. Basenote experts are neutral on Yuzu elsewhere on that website. I am not taking off a point for poor projection and that it's not long lasting since that may, in theory, be an asset if want that After a week use, I feel very good about the purchase. Nicely done.

I like it a lot, it's a neck/chest spray. I was looking for the Lavender based 3rd homme but his guy was on sale and available.

Nice clean scent from an elite company like Caron.

To me it smells more like a fancy air fresher. It lacks a sweet vanilla note or maybe a bit of saffron in the middle in my opinion. It's sour and a bit powdery. I guess some people may like the idea of sour and powdery summer scent, then grab it, why not? But I prefer a little sweet and light (like fahrenheit 32), floral or aquatic type of scents for summer. This one is too sour for me.
