After trying several paddles, this really hit the mark! It is a thermoformed paddle with injected edge foam, just a hair wider than many hybrid shapes and has a nice balance between power, pop, and control with a sizable sweet spot. Mine is just under 8 oz. and nicely balanced. I don't think I'll need to use any lead tape, I like it as it is. One note, the grip is very grippy with ridges, but it's slightly narrower (4.15" circumference) than many grips, so people with larger hands may want to use an overwrap. Has all the features I was looking for but without the name brand premium. I don't imagine that I'll need to upgrade this at all! Right now it's available for even less than I paid - with discount and promo code it is about $95. Heck of a deal!

Very good paddle for the cost. The paddle lasted me nearly a year without issue. I played typically 20 hours a week. This is a great paddle to try out if think you would like the Six Zero Double Black design and want to explore it at a lower cost. The grip feels a little smaller than the DBD. Very much a control paddle good for resets and dinks. The paddle is bit on the heavy side (8.4 oz) but coming from other racquet sports it worked well for me. It has moderate power and great spin ability similar to the DBD. This was my first paddle and I was very happy with it.

I put two quarters in the end cap and now it’s perfectly balanced. Tremendous power, tremendous spin, large sweet spot, really fast in the hands. Really good feel just will take a bit of time to figure out correct angles to not pop it up. Older design but I think still completely relevant.

This has been my favorite paddle to use so far. It does really well with grip and can make a drop super well when I use another paddle I can't drop near as well. It's like magic on those, seriously. My husband kept telling me just drop the ball right over the net and until I used this paddle I could never do that. We have ordered two of these and it's our go-to paddle. We do add the lead tape around the top edges to help increase the size of The Sweet Spot. I did take the original grip off and put a smaller grip on because it was a little big for my hand to hold on to. They handle is fairly long so I have to learn to hold it closer to the end when I want to slam the ball down. But my hands are smaller. I would recommend this paddle

I had the opportunity to use this paddle for a few months before upgrading to a Holbrook paddle. Despite moving on to a higher-end model, I still find myself reaching for this paddle occasionally. For its price point, it's a surprisingly good paddle that offers a lot to players looking to improve their game. It's a great option for those not ready to invest in a more expensive paddle but still want to experience a noticeable improvement in their play. Whether it's the feel, the balance, or the overall performance, this paddle stands out as a cost-effective choice that doesn't disappoint. In essence, this paddle serves as an excellent transitional tool, perfect for players on their journey to becoming more advanced in the sport. It's proof that you don't need to break the bank to start improving your game.
