Wood'n Stain - Gel Stain with Liquid Wood by Retique It (16 oz (Pint), 93 Red Mahogany)

I used this on the same brand of chalk paint and had great results. I did read several articles about people using different brand waxes with various results (some fine, others were disasters). A little of this wax goes a LONG way. I did multiple coats on two four drawer dresses and barely used a quarter of it. Super easy to apply. The more coats you do and the more you buff it the shiner it gets, although mine never got to what I could call a gloss. OF NOTE: the wax has a VERY strong smell. After application it dissipates in about 24 hours but make sure you are applying it in a well ventilated area.

Gives you a very smooth surface and easy to apply. The smell is really bad. I couldnt take my furnitur outside or in the garage so i opened windows and put all the fans on. The smell last that day, but by the next day it was okay. It does leave a beautiful finish. Thank you

I actually really liked this product . It gave a updated feel to a old piece of furniture.
