Pentel LR7-V Refills for EnerGel Gel Pen, 0.7mm Metal Tip, Violet Ink, Pack of 12

Unlike some of the older photos, including the advertised photo and reviews, mine came in individually wrapped plastic packs, with the usual protective tube on tips and the removable glue bead on each end for storage longevity. A dozen of them linked together in a blister sort of strip. As premium of packaging as the more expensive ones. I figured out why these are such a good deal! The usual more expensive ones come in a mostly white and clear individual pack, and these are red and clear. They are made in Japan. They have a retail price on each pack in rupees, that being Rs. 25. “Refill only for sale in India”. Warranty fine print header, “Valid in India only”. Mystery solved! They’re excellent Japan refills, zero difference from ones sold to North America. This is typically how global sales work. We pay more because we can. Others pay less, otherwise they wouldn’t pay at all. Exchange parity makes it an equivalent price pain for all of us. They’re great, smooth, fast writing, zero skipping, fast drying gel refills for a great pen model. Mine go in to my collection of violet shaded Pentel alloy pens, and I mostly grade college math papers with them (burns miles of ink). These do fit a large range of Pentel though, and I see that some posters even put them in non Pentel pens. Three cheers for India, and Dhanyavaad!

I love Pentel EnerGel pens! I write my hand almost exclusively. I go through these very quickly. I'm so glad refills are available! The ink seems to be the same that comes in the regular pens. I use these to refill both my metal Pentel and the plastic kind that come in a set. They fit perfectly and flow with perfection! No smears. Writing is a dream! I guesstimate I write 20-25 pages 8.5x11 with a single pen refill. Great value for such high quality! Have never had a Pentel product malfunction. Very durable!

Dental Energel ink and pens are the best in my opinion. Vibrant colors, fast drying, never skip . Writing is very smooth, but not slippery like uni ball jet stream. There is just a little bit feedback so you can guide it the way you want. For me the feeling is perfect

Do just what they should do! Fit well and not leak.

Refill cartridges for a large variety of colors. Watch for sales & then buy on sale. Much cheaper than buying new pens. Dry fairly quickly and write very smoothly. Love all of mine!!

I love the pen and the purple color! I had already purchased the pens and decided to buy the purple refills to use once the original ink ran out. Both pens that I used the refill in broke about halfway through the refill. You can see in my pictures that I tried to superglue the split to be able to continue use of the pen but it does not hold. The pen constantly pops apart. Love the product just wish the pen would hold up to the refill. Now I have a handful of refills and no pen body and why waste more money on new pen bodies, right?!??! :(

I don't have a pentel pen, but have heaps of other pens that utilise a cartridge. So i bought this refill pack, hoping that it would fit one of my other pens. Here's my observation: (refer to photos) 1) refills dont come in a box or individually wrapped as per photos in the description. 2) not all cartridges had a protective cap on the end. Didnt notice this till i removed some from the plastic container. 3) The catridge is fatter (~6mm) than other cartidges, hence i had trouble fitting all but one of my spare pen casings. 4) cartridge is approx 110-111mm long, but can be trimmed. I had to do this so it would fit 1 of my pen casings. 5) Color is distinct compared to blue & black. The red used is a 0.4mm. It writes nice and smooth. I gave 4 out of 5 stars because of point 3 above. Overall, im satisfied with the purchase.

Use them all the tim. have gone through a few packets and every single pen only runs out when it is completely empty an excellent producct feom Pentel I reccomend them Tey are real value for money

I use these pens a lot and like the violet colour so getting refills means I never run out of ink and the pens are too nice to throw away. I have bought from this company before and the service is always good.

Great value for money and it makes sense to just buy the refills if you have bought EnerGel pens in the past. The colour is sharp and vibrant; the ink flow is smooth. Recommended.
