Fits great and works as expected.

Well, I changed the gasket's to fix side dripping after a few years. And, it worked good. Then it stopped working. I started to get a new one, but I read reviews and verified that many people had thrown theirs away prior to changing THE PRESSURE VALVE! So, I ordered th M9 Pressure Valve and the 12 cup Bialetti moka pot model 6853 works just like the day I bought it! Keep up the proper maintenance and yours will lasts for many years too! The valve made it work like new!!!!

We have an old espresso pot - probably 30 years. It's needed a new valve for a while. Because I didn't know the exact model name or even brand (it's worn off from the bottom of the pot), I had to measure the size of the valve I wanted to replace. Replacement was very easy- just unscrew the old one and screw in the new one- that's it. If you have a wrench or even a pair of pliers, it's really easy. The pot works great again. If I need to buy a new valve in 30 more years, now I know what size to get.

Fit my existing pot and cleared my problem. Back to having set expresso.

Did not fix my problem with whistling. I bought 2 of them and think maybe I got a bad batch. They would not send me replacements.

We've had several of the Bialetti Moka Mukka Express Sovetop Expresso Maker that have eventually stopped working. I finally realized that it was like just the valve giving out so I ordered this hoping it would be an easy fix. It was and the expresso maker is now working fine.

The valve that was sent to me leaks. The hot water blows through it.

Good to change valve on coffee maker after a few years of use like changing funnel,rubber ring between two chambers as part of maintenance and improving performance.
