![Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas [Blu-ray]](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71kZZqdD57L.jpg)

When a writing assignment lands journalist Raoul Duke (Johnny Depp) and sidekick Dr. Gonzo (Benicio Del Toro) in Las Vegas, they decide to make it the ultimate business trip. But before long, business is forgotten and trip has become the key word. Fueled by a suitcase full of mind-bending pharmaceuticals, Duke and Gonzo set off on a fast and furious ride through nonstop neon, surreal surroundings and a crew of the craziest characters ever (including cameo appearances by Cameron Diaz, Christina Ricci, Gary Busey and many others). But no matter where misadventure leads them, Duke and Gonzo discover that sometimes going too far is the only way to go. Capturing the insane madness of Hunter S. Thompson's literary classic was the challenge that director Terry Gilliam (12 Monkeys) openly embraced. Critics hailed it as: "Mindblowing. Bizarre. Outrageous. Wild." Buy the ticket. Take the ride! Review: Not a Bad Movie - Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas is a wild, chaotic ride that perfectly captures the madness and excess of its era. The writing and visuals are sharp, witty, and immersive, making you feel like you’re right in the middle of the surreal adventure. A friend insisted I rent it, and although I was skeptical at first, I ended up really enjoying it and had a great laugh. It’s definitely not a traditional movie, but that’s what makes it so entertaining and memorable. Review: Amazingly fun film - Best movie ever. It’s great if you have or haven’t read the book.

We can't stop here, this is bat country
One of the greater Hunter books that went to screen. Funny it was originally his journal. Then a book, then a movie. Anyways the movie sticks to book fairly good. For those who might not know. Hunter s Thomson worked with Jhonny Depp on the set. Overall, funny, interesting and sticks to the book with its full commentary on the early 70s US. I very much enjoyed the movie.

Superior quality
Much better than similar products. Very pleased with performance. Only improvement would be better packaging. To be fair.

Chaotic and Brilliant Classic
A wild, chaotic, and brilliant ride. Hunter S. Thompson’s writing style is one-of-a-kind — sharp, vivid, and hilarious. This book isn’t just about a drug-fueled trip; it’s satire on American culture and excess. The imagery jumps off the page, and it’s easy to see why this is considered a cult classic. Definitely not a “light” read, but unforgettable.
