I bought this for my husband and he says it gave the best shave he's ever had. He uses a traditional barber style safety Razor and, along with this creme found it an excellent shave. The creme gave a nice thick lather which left his skin feeling soft and nourished. The scent is subtle, but stays nicely after the shave.

Oud can be one of those scents that is a little overpowering. But this is perfectly balanced and not too strong for a shaving cream. The cream itself is slightly softer than the more traditional creams and lathers up well. That does mean I seem to go through it much quicker. I like to mix up my shaving creams often, but I’ll definitely come back this one as a firm favourite. I have sensitive skin and didn’t notice any irritation or redness from using this one. Great scent and good quality!

This brand has been my go to shave cream for over 10 years now and it does not disappoint. It lathers up very nicely and makes for a wonderful shaving experience. I have dropped it to 4* from 5* as the initial fragrance is of Rose not Oud, the Oud comes in much later. Is this being picky? Maybe but this is a review and that is what it is for.

Another fantastic product from TOBS. The scent of this product is difficult to describe, but smells "premium". As all TOBS shaving creams it produces a very thick, luxurious lather very, very quickly with any type of brush. A little of this product goes a very long way, so if you are not familiar with TOBS soaps, use a little less than you think the first time. It is a soft soap so go easy when loading the brush. I love every one of the TOBS soaps I've tried and this one is definitely no exception.

Smells divine, foams forever, makes your skin smooth and silky. What more can you ask for?

Usually an excellent and reliable product. On this occasion it falls rather short of the expectation. The photos show why. All rather disappointing.

Obviously you have to buy everything without sniffing it these days (apart from dodgy powder?) but this product really delivers. The scent is really subtle and very expensive and the shaving cream it produces is fantastic. Well chuffed

I have used numerous soaps, creams and in particular Taylor of Old Bond Street products throughout my life. This soap is right up there with the usual high quality of TOBS and the aroma is sublime. Wonderful, rich, balanced and diverse enough for winter or summer. My personal preference is spring through to early fall for this particular oud scent.

It has very good lather and lubricants, typical of any shaving cream. Scent is weak and barely detectable therefore I do not recommend this product. Very disappointed.
