I had previously used a starter kit of rivets that came with various sizes and colors. Once I found. The size and color that suits my style, I purchased this kit where all the rivets are the same. As opposed to previous kits, these rivets are much sturdier and tougher. They do not break as easily, but do require a bit more force to install. This is obviously a good thing. If you like to mess around with leather, denim, or punk rock battle jackets, this kit is perfect so long as you already know what you're doing.

Works great! Easy to addd to material, lock is well secured, and buttons together, nicely.

A rivet is only as good as it'd structural integrity... these ones stand the test

I really estimated the size of these rivets. While the rivets themselves were fine, and would have worked OK in something stiffer like leather, they were not very good for denim. The heads needed to be 50% wider, though the length was good for what I needed. The big disappointment was the punch. I should have immediately thrown it away. A few taps from the hammer, and it bent. Pretty much 100% useless cheap junk metal. I'll be buying another punch and I can still use the rivets; my fault in size estimation.

The stitching on the fabric seat of my outdoor swing rotted out very quickly. The fabric was still good, so I used these to replace the stitching. The seat had to be removed from the frame, not too difficult. Then used a soldering iron to burn holes to accept the rivets. They have to be pounded with a hammer, but again, not to difficult. So far, a few months later, they are holding strong.

This double cap rivets are really well made, they didn't bend on me when tapping together

I have just received these rivets and have used them on a few key fobs I have made and they seem to be good quality, very easy to snap together and seem like they will hold.
