This product is WoW! amazing. I'm in my late 50's. Suffered with itchy, spotty scalp for years, occasional flare ups on my face & back, shower daily, scrub from head to toe with a scrub brush, separate brushes for head & body, still get spots regardless how clean I am or which soap/cream bar/ body wash/ shampoo I use, tried every chemist potion going, even had stuff on scrippy from the docs, nothing worked, used Cetaphil for 2 days & already my scalp is calming down & spots are less inflamed & less itchy, scalp is less sore in general, spots are drying up already, all within 3 applications in 2 days, I'm simply astounded by this product. Defo using this as my daily scalp/face wash from now on. 5 Star product.

This is one of the very rare face washes that actually work in preventing spots and oily skin. The other face wash that worked for me, cost over double the price and didn’t feel as nice to apply and the skin didn’t feel as good. It’s so light and smells amazing with just the right amount of lather. It washes off so nicely and your face feels so fresh and clean. If you got oily skin prone to breakouts then look no further than this, it’s such a fantastic product at a more than reasonable price. Highly Recommended Trust Me it works

Great feeling on the skin after using it. It keeps the oil controlled for a fair amount of time. Scent is also great. Downside for me is that it is too diluted. Sometimes you need two pumps to clean your face properly, especially if you have sunscreen or moisturiser on. With some of its peers, you can do with half of a pump in most of the cases.

I have used different products to try and help my oily skin and none have worked due to price, smell etc. I have tried this cleanser and have found it has made a huge difference with my oily skin. Firstly, the smell is not overpowering and is perfect, the consistency is good and you only need a small of amount of product to cover my whole face. I started to notice a difference in my skin after using the cleanser for around a month. As well as using other products, i feel my skin is less oily and shiny, and i can actually get through the whole day without using blotting paper! I think the price is great too, a lot of cleaners cost lots of money and this product is affordable.

The pro of this face wash is that it leaves your skin feeling really clean straight after using it. For me, that’s the only pro I could really find. I read other reviews that it dried people’s skin out quite quickly so I started off just using this at night. Within two days it made my skin considerably more oily, so much so that I’ve had to stop using it. The other downsides are that it doesn’t create a foam (which it states it does on the bottle) and it has a very strong perfume smell to it, which I feel is a little excessive considering it is suitable for sensitive skin. It’s a trial and error game when it comes to skincare products, and what doesn’t work for me might work for someone else - so I don’t want to give a ‘bad’ review when it could work for someone else. My advice would be to keep trying until you find the right product for your skin!

I recently had an out of the blue outbreak of adult acne (I'm in my 30's) my forehead and chin were covered in large angry spots some with heads some without and every morning there was a fresh batch. After weeks of suffering I had a look online for benzoyl peroxide on a friends recommendation, nothing on Amazon but saw the reviews for this so thought I'd give it a try and I must say I'm incredibly impressed. It's been exactly 8 days of use and I'm almost spot free, there are a few tiny bumps still there but they're barely noticeable, I can't believe how effective it's been. I wish I'd known about this years ago, I had a similar outbreak a few years back (I think it's hormone related) I suffered through it for months until it sorted itself out, spent a fortune on Clinique products too at the time and nothing worked. This stuff is great, I use a generous amount every morning and night to wash my face, I don't dilute it with too much water so it's still super concentrated, but just enough water to lather slightly, I give my face a good thorough wash making sure I reach the hairline, sometimes I'll let it sit on my skin for an extra minute or so whilst I brush my teeth, then rinse off and only if my skin feels dry I moisturise with the simple oil control moisturiser (found it in boots for £2.86). Over the last two or three days I also started applying Lanes Tea Tree and Witch Hazel cream (found in Tesco, also available on Amazon) directly to my chin and forehead before bed, I just rub it in until the cream almost absorbs and dries onto the area leaving a whitish residue, this combined with the Cetaphil has left me with almost clear skin in just 8 days. This is the best £5.95 I've ever spent. I've ordered a second bottle for my 18 year old brother who has had bad acne for 4 years. Will write a review once he's tested it out on his skin.
