Really good quality cameras, really sharp images in colour mode or Black and White
Really good quality cameras, night vision good on them as well, zoom function is good but the picture can get blurry for far away objects but really sharp images in colour mode or Black and White when in normal viewing. Were easy to install and configure and come with a lot of setting for setting up the security area you want cover as well as picking up good audio, although if these are exposed to a windy area, the wind can spoil the audio to the extent you cannot hear anything else.

5 years of use
I know, this review is a little late, but better then never. I have bought these cameras from ReoLink back in 2019 and use them on my property. They are connected to my network via PoE and recording to my NAS (Synology) Survey Station. I have to say, these cameras have nver missed a beat. The image quality is good enough in day and night. I am sure there are better cameras, but for the price these ones are great. Last week I tried to update the firmware but wasn't able to. The update always terminated in an error that the update file is not recognised. It turned out I had downloaded the wrong file (my bad). I opened a support ticketd and got the response within 24 hours with the solution. To summarise my experience: - Decent price - Good cameras with great image quality - Top support. I will buy more ReoLink products in the future.

Brilliant Cameras considering the cost
These were incredibly easy to set up, no power required, just PoE from the Reolink NVR that I purchased with these. Just one cable to the camera. The picture quality is incredible, literally couldnt fault it. The night vision is also pretty good to be honest. I would say the only down side is the motion detection... It is not true motion detection but rather work on a change in pixels. This is all well and good if light stays as a constant but if clouds go over on a sunny day for example it will trigger the motion alerts. There are settings to change motion zones and the sensitivity but it is quite an art to get this working exactly how you want it to with good results. It would be a lot better with true motion detection but then they would probably cost a LOT more. All in all these are brilliant cameras and the quality is top notch.

Great camera and works with Synology
Great camera, with a good picture and quite good night time picture. Setup was easy, as long as you login to the camera directly (using the IP address only in a browser window), then changing the user/ password, checking all other settings are fine. Then adding the camera on Synology, by searching for the camera, selecting Brand = 'Reolink', Camera Model = 'RLC-420', Port = '80' and username/ password setup. Edit: After first install, I changed my setup, hence needed to re-install the camera. On the setup of the camera, I found that some of the settings needed to be adjusted to ensure the Synology maintains 'keep alive' with the camera. I followed the same setup instructions as I mentioned above, but also perform the following steps to ensure the camera continues to maintain connection (not sure what of the following has done the trick, but these are the setting I personally use): Under Camera Settings (Video Tab) - Change field of view to 5MP - Resolution to 2560x1920 (highest) - Frames to a higher number (I use 16 FPS) - Bitrate to 4096 Hope this helps

Good quality easy to use PoE camera
Nice and easy to use camera. I use with BlueIris, and setup was easy once connected to the network. I found logging onto the camera and enabling the dynamic range functionality improved the image quality at night, with changing light levels. Quality overall appears to be quite high and no issues so far. Only thing to consider is that the attached cable contained an RJ45 socket, power barrel socket and also the reset button. I run this on an isolated network, and can also note that it functions fine as a standalone camera with no cloud requirements. Some of my other ReoLink cameras love to attempt web traffic on a regular basis.

Bad frosting, even under a porch.
I like almost everything about this camera from the image quality, the software, the integration with my NAS and ability to view the camera remotely using the mobile app or on an Amazon Echo Show, albeit with a 10-15 second delay rendering that functionality a bit useless. My gripe is with the frosting up due to condensation. This happened within about 12 hours of installation. Night time images were clear but the frosting up of the lens cover happened shortly after dawn, presumably when the heating side-effect of the IR LEDs has worn off after the LEDs turned off. The condensation didn't dissipate after a whole day. The camera is located under a porch so gets no direct rain but also gets no direct sunlight. Looking at Reolink's website, there's suggestions of how to prevent condensation but they appear to advocate taking the camera apart and putting desiccant gel sachets inside the camera or better sealing it. You shouldn't have to do this with a brand new camera designed to work outdoors. Not happy with the situation but the cameras are easy enough to take apart and either insert a desiccant gel sachet or apply some silicon sealer or some form or grease to the joins. Presumably, despite such practices being advocated on the Reolink website, you'd void the warranty if you did so. Update 20/08/2020 - I applied silicon grease around the lens cover inside the camera and on the circular foam pad which surrounds the lens. I also applied some to the thin rubber seal between the two halves of the camera's shell and around the SD card slot. Since doing this, images have remained clear with no condensation issues.
