This product (hat/shoe holder) is well made. It gets heavy with shoes added, but great for my hats and a couple shoes. Need a sturdy closet rod or hang up a specific one for this item. Each bay can hold 4-5 hats. Recommend. Just Velcros around the pole. Not obvious at first but it’s there.

This item is perfect. Easy to install, keeps hats visible and you can put two in each compartment which really helped clean up closet

Finally, organized!
My wife was so happy I bought this. I have a lot of hats and this fits them all. I wear extra large fitted hats and would say I can comfortably fit 3 in each slot. This does a great job of organizing them all and getting them off tables, shelves, and racks. No more smashed hats or upset wife. The organizer is very long, so make sure you check the measurements and have the space. It would not fit in any of my closes, but I hung it from the ceiling in the corner of my basement and I'm quite happy.

It truly does work well, and can store a ton of hats.
While this was a tad bit too long for my closet, this thing is a gamechanger. I have probably about 80 hats that have been filling up my hallway closet. My hallway closet has only shelfs and no rods/poles for the hat storage, BUT my bedroom closet does. So I literally cleaned out an entire shelf (probably 6 feet long, but 18 inches high), and have all my hats in my closet in my bedroom. This thing is a gamechanger!

For shoes, works for hats
This is basically a hanging shoe rack, but it works for hats. The slots are big enough for two or three baseball caps.
