Best investment
I bought this to grind my own flour and instead I've been using it to grind up my own coffee after I roast. It does an amazing job the coffee is like fine powder and it only takes seconds to grind the beans

Perfect for spices
I grind my own spices and have used a coffee grinder. Finally got one of these. Total game changer. It said to clean it the first time by putting rice in and grinding it. I did as said and when I opened it was shocked to see it was a fine powder! The swing over nut/bold things that hold it down don't line up "perfectly" but still holds it down just fine. The timer is a little old fashioned dial, but for the price I am happy.

Gets the job done. Not the best grain milling option though
I bought this specifically for milling grains for bread making. You can get a consistently, very fine flour if you grind for about a minute, sift (it comes with a sieve), and grind the coarser bits a second time. Don’t try to simply run the mill longer than 2 minutes. It gets hot, and the super fine flour settles at the bottom and starts to cook. No safety feature, so you have to remember to unplug when open the canister. Overall, if you’re eager to start milling your own grains and tight on cash, it’s a good product. It will give a nice fine flour for breads, muffins, etc. If you’re looking for something that will allow you to grind different sizes with consistency (like polenta or cracked wheat), this isn’t the product for you.

Title: Terribly Disappointed: Greatrue Electric Grain Mill Fails Miserably I purchased the Greatrue Electric Grain Mill Grinder with high hopes, but unfortunately, it has been nothing short of a catastrophic disappointment. Just when I thought my kitchen woes were solved, this product decided to throw in the towel exactly one day after the one-month return window closed. Coincidence? I think not. The troubles began when, halfway through grinding, the machine abruptly stopped working. No warning signs, no gradual decline in performance, just a sudden halt. I assumed it might have overheated, so I gave it ample time to cool down. Yet, even after the supposed cooldown period, it stubbornly refused to restart. It's as if it decided it had ground its last grain and called it quits. The build quality of this product is undoubtedly questionable. Not only did it fail to endure basic usage, but it also crumbled under the pressure of what should have been a routine task. The lack of durability is glaringly evident, making it clear that this grinder is nothing more than a flimsy piece of machinery masquerading as a reliable kitchen tool. Save yourself the headache and steer clear of this disastrous excuse for a grain mill. It's not worth the money, the hassle, or the disappointment. I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy. Well, maybe I would... Buyer beware: this product is a total waste of time and resources.

perfect for making powder out of anything.
Did a small grind of a natural antiseptic root, rock hard when dried out. Very impressed at the range of sizes of powder. The lid collected the fine powder and did what I wanted. Still courser product at the bottom but for the test, great! I only ran it for 30 seconds so more to do. Will report if any problems. The design is a bit messy as the fines collect at the top and when opened dusted the area. Tap the top lid and wait for a few minutes before opening place wax paper under the grinder to save product or keep area clean.
